3rd & full 2 was foolhardy, especially when your SY guy is stinky Dolegala!!  They got it only by a hair, and I think the spot was generous.

Killam didn't go for it on even 3rd & 1 in the earlier game -- so not all coaches go for it.  However, that example was just dumb because 1 is a gimmee.  2 is not.

The main thing is whether you think you are the better team.  If you're vastly inferior and not likely to win, like HAM, then you will often take more risks.  Because if you play it straight, you won't win.  So yes, HAM going for 3rd & 2 makes more sense... and likewise Killam not going for it is stupid.

As for MOS -- since we are a total butt team, we should be going for 3rd & everything short of 2.5Y.  Because if we don't, we ain't winning.

Oh look at that, BC's D is vulnerable to the deep shot!  Why on earth we were limiting Dru & Elgs to 15Y is beyond me.  We likely would have had success chucking a few deep ones, and it would have helped loosen up the short game.
