That was this past week. He's been struggling all season. And going back  the last couple of years, you can tell he's not the same guy.

Well at least they are acknowledging he's nicked. They should give details so everyone doesn't just hate on him.

Keep in mind DNP means nothing for Stan though. He gets all the vet days he could every wish for.

It all starts with whether Broxton plays in the next game. If not all other bets are off.

I think I mentioned I don't expect Collaros to play either. O'Shea always throws up a smokescreen about injuries and length of time on the IR.

It won't surprise me at all if he spends the entire 6 game IR time period. Hopefully I'm wrong but even so how long will he last with all the hits both QB's are taking?

We haven't heard anything about the rehab for either Bond or Schoen. It didn't seem clear that neither would be deciding to retire from football. Some expectations would be that by September either might be healthy again.

Although neither is currently on our IR roster, what is the news if any?

No news yet.  If Bonds was available this instant I'd probably cut Moxey and instantly start Bonds.  Too bad Bonds isn't HB, or we could bench Nichols.  Since this is Bonds first big injury in the CFL, he shouldn't be considered a Schoen/Strevy-type write off.

As for Schoen, I would totally add him as a late-season flyer if he is suddenly able.  But every contract has to be based on incentives, as we all know it's 75% chance he ruins the knee again.  And this is all assuming he can still run like he used to.

It would be tough to get Schoen on the field though (ratio...), but it would be good vet depth.

Not sure why we keep hearing Schoen's name. Everything that has been shared has indicated that he won't be back. Not sure why that would change halfway through his rehab. He will likely never play again.

You want a vet import? Sign Lewis. He had a 1000 yards the last two seasons instead of two separate devastating knee injuries.

We heard that we wouldn't discount bringing him back when he was healthy. His injury was a year ago so in theory he could be looking for a return at some point.

No one has said squat about Schoen, including Schoen.  Everything "said" is just pundit and fan speculation.  He's only 29, and this would have been his 5th season.  That's totally an age at which you can still recover from knee problems.

That said, I'm not betting no his return.  I just hope if he does, it's here.

I think Clark is eligible to be removed from the 6 game IR. I don't think he gets added to the AR unless we had a Canadian ST injury. I suppose that means he gets bumped to the PR if there is room.

To replace Griffin on the roster I think it comes down to Jackson or Hazen as a toss up. Just a guess on my part but I think Jackson might be a better fit at the moment.

There hasn't been any notice of replacement bodies being brought in for the PR, but maybe something is in the works. NFL cuts should be starting soon. I'd like to see a couple more LB's and DB's in particular being brought in based on injuries.
