It's too little, too late, but we need to upgrade everyone on our O line that was playing tonight. Elisbury, Wallace, Neufeld and Bryant should not be on the field, they're awful and our offensive woes start there. Defensively, our D line which was our weak link last year is the strongest link this year. Our LB corps was brutal tonight, secondary non existent all season and we need a safety, kelly is awful and shouldn't be playing on our defense.

The biggest problem was O'Shea's grandma took over play-calling duties. How do we continuously for field goals while in short yardage distance?

Playing not to lose instead of to win and it bit them in the butt.
My wife is amazing!

Saw Horvath run in Lions TC this spring, the guy is an absolute beast, surprised it took them this long to let him loose.  He should be the main RB and they can bring Butler in as a change of pace or on passing downs.

Coaching like Lapolice.

Yay everyone!  It's bye time!

(if you know, you know)
Never go full Johnston!

Can't even call this a trap game. Trap games are when good or great teams face awful teams and lose. We are not good or great, we are the awful team. And this outcome should have been expected.

I said in Pickems this is their last chance. It was. I'm through. It will take big changes before I pick us again. Even Ottawa is going to kick our butt.

That's true but our offence can't seem to move the ball consistently and is part of the problem. You can only fix where there might be changes possible. I can't think of a good defensive player that is available. I suppose there might be but none come to mind.

Being able to stay on the field and give the QB time to throw keeps the other team off the field. Now we've got injuries to both our QB's. We'll see who is able to play after the bye.

I'm all for making an example today. Cut someone outright and go to next man up.

I'd cut Wilson and Nichols today. We won't though. We'll start them next week because Osh's personal connections are more important than on field performance. It's hard to conclude anything else after last year and 9 games this.

O'Shea mentioned in the last few days they are using Tony Jones in multiple roles including as a rush end on the line instead of Ayers, and he's done well for the most part.  Problem is when he's lining up in different places they are playing without a traditional MLB who's responsibility is to flow to the play and plug up the gaps quickly.

When Kyrie is on the field at MLB it tends to be in passing situations and he floats high in the box trying to interrupt throwing lanes, if the play turns out to be a run, he is easily dodged as he has to deal with the ball carrier in the open field.

Conclusion put Tony back in the middle and play him as a traditional MLB, let other great athletes of which there are many blitz and help chase down QB's in the backfield.

Tony Jones is a tank and would have crushed the run game. It was genius that we took him out at MLB and even worse we didn't put him in after Wilson kept getting lit up.

So then we'd expect none of these big run explosions occurred against the weak side when Jones was at his will spot?

Not saying your premise is wrong, but there might be more going on. Keep in mind almost every big run against us is C gap or wider... In theory having our biggest beef at will and sam would stop that.

Funny, but edge runs were our bane in 25, and here we are seemingly having solved nothing. How is this possible?

MOS said the d was tired...

And to be fair to Wilson on the one big run #54 held/tackled him that run should have come back but the refs missed it

And yet they were super quick to flag pokey on our early almost-td...

I haven't rewatched yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if the league and refs wanted to give bc every leg up. Bc was still going to be a one win team! Can't have that. They are the gc favourites dontchaknow.
