Their record and stats are skewed by their 2 close losses to Montreal. Our defense isn't anywhere near as good as Montreals, VAJ will roast us.

He'll put up yards, but they're allowing over 35 points a game and we're playing better than we were in week 1 when we beat them.

The Stamps secondary sucks, half the TD's they gave up to the Als were on broken plays.  Hopefully that hasn't been fixed yet.

Our last 3 games are Toronto, Ottawa and Calgary.
They are the bottom 3 teams in passing yards against and also points per game against.
Dru Brown is playing great, and I'm hoping that he can that can continue against Calgary and beyond.
Calgary also is the most penalized defense in the league at 9.83 penalties per game (95 yards per game). League average is 6.48 penalties per game, and 66.41 penalty yards per game.

Our defense has allowed 156 points this season to mtrl 189. Our defense though frustrating at times isnt the issue as much as the inconsistency of offence.

I'm hoping for an offensive brawl, but with some key players stepping up on D to save the day.

On offense, this is Druski's chance to ball if Calgary's D can still be picked on. I'd like to see the ball spread around and get into Nield and Demski's hands more often. Our rec core (main 4 guys) still looks so good on paper but we haven't been able to capitalize on it fully yet. Would love to see a break out game for them. Brady ball too must also be unleashed.

On D, I want to see some individuals answer the bell. I'd like to see Ceresna and Willie get to VAJ on second and long when it matters most. I want to see post game comments like "Nichols is back!" and have him shut down his assignments. Maybe some heroics from the LBs who have been mostly silent this year. Kyrie had a good game on Sunday - maybe ToJo's turn to get a highlight or two.

I think that Edmonton and Sask are probably in the top tier and us and Calgary are mid-tier. BC has a bad record but they are closer to us in reality. West is wide open and will get more competitive now that we're past the first third of the season where there's rust to be shaken off. How this game goes should be very telling of where we're at.

Tony Jones is second in the league in tackles, he's playing at an all-star level already.

I don't have a problem with his play, I'm talking big play, highlight reel stuff in a clutch situation. Making a huge play when it really matters sorta stuff. Stepping up in situations.

Side note, I don't really think much of tackle stats. It means they're doing their job which is great, but it also means you're getting those opportunities for any positive or negative reason.

Yeah, we've been run on like crazy. Of course Jones has a bunch of tackles. Pick up a fumble recovery once in a while though.

It would be nice to get Dru some help at receiver instead of loading the LBers. Watching the game yesterday a lot of passing between Sask and Edm. We only have two IMP and one Nat receiver you can count on, the other four Nat receivers you can't count on for big plays, maybe blocking? If we happen to loose one IMP during the game we are screwed.
I know most LB are ST players and it helps that MOS was a LB and like to help out Younger but help is needed on the other side of the line.

Nah close game, no roasting.

The D needs help and will benefit from all the LBs in the heat, O is fine imo.

OL play will be a primary factor in our success imo
Dustin is fine.  TJ is fine and gets tackles because is a very good LB.  He played lights out last game.

I'm fully expecting us to lose badly.

Our only hope is our d-line controls the line of scrimmage.
