The first thing to consider is that Dru Brown will be the starting QB again this week. And more encouraging news on the injury front as well with Clercius, Woodbey, Novack. Schmekel, Ball, Dixon and Clark at full practice.

Kramdi did not practice and remains "questionable".

The most recent injury report follows...

A crucial game against Calgary with the goal to put more distance between us and them.

Ed Tait's 48-Hour Primer sets the tone for Friday's game...

Calgary has put up massive amounts of points this season. Only being held under 30 once this season (28 points against us in week 1). But their defence has been as awful as their offence has been unstoppable.

Week 1 was the only classic Brady ball that we've seen this season. 100+ yards on the ground and used as an outlet in the passing game. It allowed us to control the clock a bit and keep VAJ on the sidelines. Are we able to get back to that after virtually ignoring him last week?

Dru has been hyper targeting Ontaria Wilson, but their connection has been hit or miss. Probably catching 50% or less of the targets and leading to some of those interception opportunities last week. Can they get more on the same page even though I think there was only one practice this week again?

VAJ has 17 TDs against 0 interceptions. It's not exactly our strong suit, but can we break his streak?
My wife is amazing!

Depends on which Vernon Adams shows up. Last week against Mtrl for 3/4 he was mediocre

Calgary is due for a win as well, we re due for a loss. We eked out a win vs Hamilton and stunk vs Ottawa and won. Dru nearly threw 3-4 interceptions last week, this week he throws picks.

No Kramdi is going to hurt...

I think the Bombers lose another at home - defence is still a weak point

TBURGESS

Kramdi is just a hand issue. I expect him to start.
Plan for the worst. Hope for the best.

Blueforlife

Losing Kramdi would be massive if so who comes in at FS?

bunker

For ratio reasons and experience, likely Kelly. But I expect Kramdi to play.

Blue In BC

Kramdi added to 6 game IR. How long he remains on 6 game IR will be a question but yes he can be removed earlier. The question is whether he has a sprain or hairline fracture.

Jackson added in as the new DI. He appears to have the size and weight of a player to play at SAM in a depth role.
One game at a time

Kramdi is out for the Bombers

Alford (who we had no answer for) is in for the Stamps

LXTSN

Kelly is starting at safety with Kramdi out.
I know he's been a bit of a punching bag on this forum, but he's played pretty well recently!
I'm hoping he's actually made improvements and it's not just a lucky stretch. We don't have any great options after Kramdi, so hopefully Kelly can make an impact!

Suggesting that we might not have an answer for a player this roster hasn't played against is a wee bit on the worry side, the past doesn't really matter on this

Yes a challenge, do we have an answer, maybe

Career impact game for Kelly he could take the next step but at bare minimum a great chance to lear
Cobb remains, makes sense got some blocking beef coming in

Time for Cobb to step up

We didn't have an answer for Alford in the past - that is the truth...it matters.

Do we have someone we can cover him this season - maybe (I hope so) but the past is a relevant data point.

Jackson???  Where did he come from? Don't think he'll be taking Kramdi's place, maybe Smith gets that role.
