Lorenzo Burns returns for Montreal Alouettes against Stampeders
by 3Down Staff  July 10, 2026

The Montreal Alouettes will have Lorenzo Burns back in the starting lineup when they host the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday night. The team released its official depth chart on Friday morning.

Burns was moved to the one-game injured list ahead of Montreal's recent win over the Ottawa Redblacks due to a head injury. The 28-year-old made 11 defensive tackles and one forced fumble over three games to start this season.

The five-foot-eleven, 200-pound defender joined the Alouettes in 2024 and has since made 94 defensive tackles, four special teams tackles, three forced fumbles, and two interceptions over 23 regular-season games. He was replaced at boundary cornerback last game by Don Callis, who will start on Saturday at field-side cornerback.

Stevie Scott III has been moved to the six-game injured list (hamstring), leaving Travis Theis to start in his place at running back. Scott III has rushed 10 times for 65 yards in one start this season, while Theis has rushed 34 times for 165 yards and two touchdowns over three starts.

Canadian ball-carrier Liam Talbot, the team's fourth-round pick in the 2026 CFL Draft, has been promoted from the practice roster to serve as the backup behind Theis. This will be Talbot's first career regular-season CFL game.

David Perales
has been listed as a starter at defensive end over Joshua Archibald. The 27-year-old product of Fresno State is making his regular-season CFL debut after initially earning a spot on Montreal's practice roster after training camp.

Najee Murray, the team's veteran strong-side linebacker, is listed as a game-time decision. He was limited in practice on Thursday due to a hamstring injury and listed as questionable.

Defensive lineman Kylan Guidry has been moved to the practice roster, while defensive back Arthur Hamlin (knee) has been moved to the one-game injured list.

The Montreal Alouettes (3-1) will host the Calgary Stampeders (2-2) at Percival Molson Stadium on Saturday, July 11 with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EDT. The Stampeders are coming off a 58-36 win over the Toronto Argonauts, while the Alouettes were on bye last week.

The weather forecast in Montreal calls for a high of 29 degrees and sun. The game will be broadcast on TSN and RDS2 in Canada, CBS Sports Network in the United States, and CFL+ internationally. Radio listeners can tune in on 770 CHQR in Calgary and TSN 690 (English) or 99.5 Montreal (French) in Montreal.

Adrian Greene returns for Calgary Stampeders against Alouettes
by 3Down Staff  July 10, 2026

The Calgary Stampeders will have Canadian defensive back Adrian Greene back in the starting lineup when they visit the Montreal Alouettes on Saturday night. The team released its official depth chart on Friday morning.

The six-foot, 192-pound defender missed Calgary's last two games with a knee injury and was replaced at field-side cornerback by Dolani Robinson, who was released this week. Greene made nine defensive tackles over the team's first two games prior to being injured.

The 27-year-old native of Toronto was named All-West Division with the Stampeders last season after making 39 defensive tackles, six interceptions, and two touchdowns over 13 regular-season games.

Calgary has also moved linebackers Eric Rascoe (back) and R.J. Moten (hamstring) from the one-game injured list to the active roster. Rascoe was the team's first-round pick in the 2026 CFL Draft, while Moten joined the team in January.

In corresponding moves, the Stampeders have placed offensive lineman Tomas Jack-Kurdyla and linebacker Kelechi Anyalebechi on the reserve roster.

The rest of Calgary's roster remains unchanged from last week's dominant win over the Toronto Argonauts, during which Vernon Adams Jr. threw six touchdown passes and ran one in himself.

The Calgary Stampeders (2-2) will visit the Montreal Alouettes (3-1) at Percival Molson Stadium on Saturday, July 11 with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Pretty bush on the part of TSN. Thanks for the heads up. I'm recording the game, or thought I was, but was recording FIFA instead. CFL is really at the bottom of the list of their priorities.

montreal Philpot is so good.

Calvillo has turned into a great OC (not really surprised)

Stamps secondary is inept, leaving Als receivers free to roam.
