No money. That's why McManus left in the first place.

Bonus has been pre-paid and 1/4 of his salary, regardless I think Arbuckle might be paid more than McManus.

Change is inevitable. Some of the guys have stayed too long.  Stan, Zac, Neuf, maybe. Demski, White, (ham must have known he was done) hey ya can't play forever

Awesome players. Thanks boys.

Quote from: DM83 on July 08, 2026, 03:22:31 AMMasoli to Hamilton. They need a guy to throw short, and hand off. The guys they have ...I wouldn't trust. That Ford guy can only run. And he lost the game for Hamilton. And that Dolemega guy ???? Was he ever any good? Yeah Arbuckle would be a good bet, same with the guy we had here from the UFL.

Lmao

Masoli retired. Guy was beat to a pulp.
Season ticket holder since year 1 of the Reinbold era.

Why suggest such a trade?

It would be a bad idea for a multitude of reasons. We need Brown to be the possible replacement for Collaros due to injury or retirement in 2027. Whether he can be that QB is a TBD but for 2026 I'd say he is that player.

Lawler is a very expensive SMS hit and we only roster 2 import receivers. Domino impact on the roster and ratio aspects.

One game at a time

What is the status of Collaros?? Is he playing this week or is he on one game or 6 game IR?.

Stan is an all time great, maybe best ever, at the end of an epic run, not done yet, could be his last year though
Zach if can stay healthy has a couple years left but yes is in high risk mode and its a coin flip each game
Neuf is not done
Demksi just past his prime but still a top player and has at least 2 great years left
White is a top receiver

The negativity here rivals pre mini dynasty wow

All these guys will retire as Bombers I hope.  White might bounce around due to $.

I get what you are saying here but stretching a wee bit imo

Tim White: 221 yards
Kenny Lawler: 220 yards

Lawler doesn't even lead his own team in receiving.  Probably won't considering what he has throwing to him, it could be that Edmonton year all over again.

Lawler is actually 23rd in the league at the moment. First in ego though. Not enough said about Tyson Philpot. If he continues his pace he would be around 2500 yards for the season. Two Sask players in spots 2 and 3.

I wouldn't trade Brown for anyone or anything at this point (a better QB yes maybe but that's a pipe dream). I would throw some money at him to keep him around on a team friendly deal (2yr).

I think he will be an incredible asset for this ball club for years to come, learning from a great teacher.  He is at least average with upside. Needs to stay healthy.

I don't see Lawler having a huge ego, he's seems pretty laid back.  Can't fault a guy for earning as much money as he can in the short time he has to do so.

Being egotistical and being laid back are not mutually exclusive.

Lawler's a great player but I can understand why some fans here could have a bitter taste in their mouths when you consider he bailed on this organization twice for his own interests.

He bailed for more money both times, which doesn't seem like a bad idea, who is he supposed to be loyal to?
