He's terrible we need to cut the he cord and move on. He can't run his arm is terrible. We're lucky Mitchell went down. I hope he is ok and comes back he is a class act. He would of shred our defense eventually. We need our DB' s to play WAY better, Williams had a good game but Kramdi can't tackle and Holm was out of position allot. Nichols can't cover anymore IMO. Our D line lacks pressure, I know there are new personnel there but this was what it was like last year. Look what Farjardo did to us last week. We need to get better or we will fall in the abyss the Elks were in..

SHUT UP

A message to Zach:

As Bomber fans, we love you, and you will always be a Blue Bomber. However, it's time to call it quits. Concussions are serious business, and we don't want you to get CTE. You are a hero for leading us to 2 Grey Cups, and wonderful times that will go down as some of the best in franchise history.

However, it's time to call it a day.  Take care of yourself.

I have no problem with Zach continuing to play, even in '27.  Every time he takes these whacks he's pulled for "precaution" only.  No one is diagnosing him with concussion.  Don't think he's had one they could discern since when he wore green.  Yes, he almost certainly is getting mini ones.  But do those matter?  Who knows.  Doesn't matter if he doesn't care.

We do have one problem though... Elgersma ran our short game O waaay better than Zach did/does.  Even the lack of a deep threat wasn't an impediment to Elgersma finding targets.  He didn't ignore Cobb wide out, like Zach does.  Elgersma had a bit more zip on the short pass.  He was nearly perfect in catching RECs in stride, even on tricky lateral-ish balls.

But yes, HAM was completely demoralized after BLM died on field.  So take Elgersma with a grain of salt after that.

What Zach brings is the superb mid and decent deep game.  Elgersma may not have that -- at least not yet.  I think Zach could be awesome again if we abandon the short game and do like a 2016-2017 CGY where every pass is mid/deep.  It would also force the run game wide open.  Zach is better when he has the wide field and wider-spaced D's to work with, and the lack of ball zip won't mean an INT -- as long as he throws soon enough the REC isn't more than 50Y away.
Never go full Johnston!

Sir Blue and Gold

You can't be a starting quarterback and get pulled for precaution or injury every time someone touches your upper back.

Whatever his neck injury, it's not going away.

He deserves a hero's send off and to be celebrated as one of the best Blue Bombers in history, but it's time, both from a play on the field perspective and a practical one.
