Quote from: dd on June 26, 2026, 02:37:04 PMNo, he's a tight end that fumbles the ball!

That fumble was not something I would put a lot of concern into.  I think he as being young, and feeling his oats, and tried that hurdle whish cause him to lose the ball.

He will NOT be hurdling again, that was a one time learning experience.
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Other than that fumble he looked good, happy to see them using him as a checkdown.  Noticed Brady sneaking out into the flats a few times when he should have stayed behind to help protect Zach.

I d definitely be using Daniels more, way more. You think any of those DB's and LB's want to mess with that tank?!?! No way, let him punish the defense and soften them up. Take some pressure off of Brady and make the D account for him, which in turn will open things up for Brady. The man is a load.

Quick he isn't and he doesn't look like much of a route runner, but if he can present himself as a big reliable target and gain YAC with enthusiasm, he will become an annoying problem opposing LB's have to cover off, distracting them away from Brady.

Brady sneaks out when the numbers favor the OL.  If only 4 come and we have 5, Brady will go out.  Every team does this.  The problem is, and that no one should expect, is that EDM (and other team) pressure has their 4 beat our 5 like 33% of the time.  That's pathetic, and the number one reason Zach took so many hits, and a huge contributor to why we lost the game.

And now if Wallace will be out vs HAM, it'll be another pathetic poop show.  I say use the ratio to go 4 IMP OL if Wallace is out.  Elsbury at C, Vant at LG.

That's the "each rookie will lose you 1 game" effect to a T.

Hurdling isn't the problem.  So many do it, and like booth said, if DBs are forced to take you low because you're so beefy, just jump over them.

No, the problem is holding the ball 3' away from your body when you do it!  Jump all you want, just put the ball where it belongs.  Preferably with 2 arms.

Thanks for the good stats.  Nice to see WFC usually gets quality kickers.

The problem with the law of large numbers though, is that even with superb overall stats, he'll miss 1, 2 or 3 on a night when you need those to win.  Can't really control that.  Murphy's law.

Just as long as he doesn't get the yips and go full H<20 more letters with lots of J's> (yes, I know H<...> is kind of a "star" now, but the point remains).
