Honestly, if we went for 5, you guys would say, why aren't we going down the field? We go down the field you say why aren't we going for 5.  Fans are never happy when we aren't successful.

NO guarantee 5 would have worked either!

Yards don't count on the score board. If the offence had held onto the ball and Sergio makes his usual kicks, this is a very different game. Defence has kept us in the game by forcing a turn over and holding them to 3 on the fumble return.

That's hardly the point and you should know it. TOP and field position are all part of the game.  IIRC the Elks scored a FG on their 2nd possession. It was the fumble return that ended up with a turnover on downs.

If I got that backwards, I stand corrected but I think that was what happened. In any case you can't let a team drive 100+ yards twice to start the game. Noting I said drive not a 2 play deal but 10 play type situation.
