The 27-year-old dressed for nine regular-season games in a depth role this year, making three catches for 23 yards."

Not that familiar with him but he is a Natl. with good size, he might be a better option than recently signed receiver Vyshonne Janusas at 5'11" 229 lbs.

For what it's worth he was the 2nd overall pick in the 2024 draft. I think we have 3 of our Canadians that are potential free agents. So adding him for a quick look and future contract for 2027 is not the worst idea.

Also cut by Dinwiddie who doesn't always make rational personnel decisions, but if the Bombers want him they better move fast or he'll end up on another Western team.

We employ Joey Corcoran and Gavin Cobb. Nick is worth a look.

Yah but that's their depth, there is nothing beyond them and it could come down to heading into next season with no other Natl. receivers left on the roster other than Demski, one year closer to retirement.

I doubt Nield or Clercius come back if they have any other options and the team hasn't produced a memorable Natl. receiver in over a decade, but next year they're going to magically pull 3 better receivers straight out of their ***? Any Natl. receiver is going to look at their history and determine it would be a terrible career move.

I see 2 coordinators fighting to reduce the number of Natls. they have to employ and both are winning, to the detriment of the future.

Nield signed a two year deal.

I'm confused, you think Mardener is worth a look or not?
