Blue Bombers Transactions - May 1, 2026

WINNIPEG, MB., May 1, 2026 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the following roster moves.

Added to roster:

American receiver Jayden Harrison (5-10, 198, Notre Dame)
American running back OJ Arnold (5-9, 195, Georgia Southern)

Transferred to Retired:

American defensive lineman Matt Jaworski

Didn't expect Jaworski to retire but that's the way it goes sometimes.

****! Guess we'll never find out why, but got to throw some of these guys more than the occasional bone if you expect them to stick around so far from home. Jenkins and Munier-Bailey have the advantage over a bunch of rookies at edge rusher now.

Blue In BC

Munier-Bailey has a better chance of making the roster as a 2nd global player. It's a ratio advantage per se where he could just be a rotational player rather than an " import " starter in the normal sense

Jenkins didn't look bad in the 1 game at the end of the season but it was nearly a pre-season type game. Backs ups playing against back ups. He'll have the advantage to start TC day 1, but it's any ones opportunity quickly.
