Well good for you, you were lucky.  You see big O linemen come roaring into a pile and jus t light up a defensive player trying to stop the ball carrier. He isn't trying to push the pile, he's trying to knock a guy out. The whole pile pushing tush push bs could be stopped if the refs just blow the play dead when forward progress is stopped or through the flag the second jumbo starts pushing or pulling the ball carrier. Nobody came to the park to watch that bs.

That is true.  I didn't fly all the way to MTL that day to see a dumb rugby scrum.  If I wanted to watch rugby, there's plenty of that on tv.

Maas calls it the best play ever, I call it the dumbest thing I've ever seen on a CFL field.

Used to love it when Hardrick would slam into the pile and push Andrew or Brady another 5-10 yards.

Into the pile, or directly touching the carrier?  Usually a pile.  Something I think the rule allows (my "intervening player" theory).

However, even when Yoshi did it, does anyone remember at critical playoff game being decided by 3 O players pushing/pulling the stopped carrier 5-10 more YDS for a TD, sealing the game?

Typically the Bombers would have 1 or 2 O-line pushing, on the play in question the Als had 4.

Defintely can say Vaughters stopped Scott's momentum.

Ya, hand it to Vaughters.  The only one trying.  He's like: "dudes, am I the only one playing?  Where's my dogs at?".

Someone should have dived in low to take out Scott's legs while he was engaged... heck, do it on the hoggies, too.

this is the perfect example of the refs not killing the play, Vaughters clearly has him wrapped up and momentum stopped, then the fat boys come to push the pile, that's illegal, just call it guys, its like letting holding go on a play, they would never do that, yet they let this slide, sickening!!
