And yet, somehow still better than last year.

3/4 artists became popular this century.

A reminder it's the year 2026.

Not for me, but hopefully it does well.
My wife is amazing!

I know Motley Crue (pass) and Three Days Grace. This isn't for me, either, but I hope it's entertaining for those who do attend.

Not for me either but this would be a ton of fun to go to. It's true that Vince is toast but don't think for a second that there aren't tons of 80s hair metallers out there who'd go anyway. TDG have been around for almost a quarter century as well and can almost be considered "classic" now (lol).

I think the best part is that the stadium is getting a good workout as a big concert/festival venue on the reg now. Very important public asset.

Respectfully, sir: how dare you.

On a related topic, why is it that Winnipeg isn't getting any big outdoor concerts like we used to.

For comparison, Edmonton seems to have become a destination for outdoor gigs.

2025
2 Morgan Wallen concerts

2026

Ya, I remember some great sold-out concerts at the old barn in the 80s...  Weird.  Maybe they are trying but acts just aren't interested?  Maybe they are making so much already they don't need to gamble?
Never go full Johnston!

Not sure what the deal is. Foo Fighters are even playing Mosaic Stadium in September.

Maybe the promoters are guaranteeing more money to play there.

Isn't that the tourism strategy for the whole province? "Come to Saskatchewan - We'll pay you".  ;)
Money is no object...especially when you have none.

And then Commonwealth in Edmonton and BC Place in Vancouver. It's kind of embarrassing that Winnipeg just gets missed for an artist/tour of that magnitude considering they haven't played here since 2008.

Foo fighters aren't playing in Winnipeg because the date they wanted conflicted with the Banjo Bowl.

I fully expect they will play a stadium concert in Winnipeg in the next 5 years.

General complaint - can't believe it's $275 for pit tickets.
