He's a tall one but not a heavy player for that height.  Height can be a distinct advantage but also can be a disadvantage at times ( center of gravity thing ).

Outside if he can run with taller receivers is something we haven't had. I'm not so sure that would be a good thing at DHB or safety in the CFL. Will have to watch how he is used in TC and what his ability to change directions and move with receivers look like.

Another interesting prospect. I would think the CFL will be a transitional learning curve for him that may take time to adjust. Seems to have done well in college.

He started his career as a receiver and then switched to DB. Could be an additional valuable asset depth wise.  Might explain his ability to make INT's. Better than average hands possibly.

You mean because of

Salaries to play in college?

Good point. Didn't think of that.

They've changed the w rules around redshirt years and injured seasons too. They're just providing a lot of ways to prolong college eligibility, even before NIL money.

Seems to move really well for an extremely tall DB, excited to see if he can compete at the pro level, his highlight reel seems strangely abbreviated for such a long college career.

DB's who used to be Rec, nothing says they can't go back to being Rec.

His size and speed might be benefitted by the waggle.  We will have to see where they line him up in camp, FS seems a logjam with guys with better passports in the mix.  Could a 6'5 guy play CB?  What is his wingspan?

Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

IMO CB is the most likely spot in the secondary for him to fit. I can only remember a few in the secondary that size in the recent era. They excelled and ended up in the NFL IIRC.

Two way players are uncommon and switching back to offence doesn't seem likely. It is something that might be useful in emergency that could be worked into the playbook. 1st and goal might give the defence another thing to worry about in coverage.

Put 30-40 pounds on this guy and turn him into a DE. Willy 2.0.

That's what Jones did with AC Leonard.
