LAT always plays Canada tough. Our top line is very good. The 2nd. unit is starting to fine some chemistry. The team still needs to play better in D-zone.

Where did this narrative come from?

They beat us in an upset last year, but we beat them 10-0 the year before that. They are a low tier team with a miniscule prospect pool to choose from. Doesn't give me high hopes for when we play a stronger team.
My wife is amazing!

Canada should've easily beaten Latvia in regulation. Finland whomped them yesterday.

See that our 2 draft choices, on Sweden, have a bit of contributions to date.
Freij has 4 assists and Bouemedienne got his first 2 today

I like the look of Freij. His skating is very strong, handles the puck well, and has a pretty good shot.

Saw Boumedienne at the Prospect camp, don't recall Feij,
---- and he seemed to be a super skilled skater at his D- position
