Always will be classic. The chain of events is uncanny!

This was one of my favourite comebacks.

We didn't leave early, but we did walk around the stadium to meet up with some buddies thinking the game was over.

Hogan look a like ripping shirt off in section S of the old stadium and putting on a show, unfortunately there was not a happy ending to this story :(

That section was so cheap and so much fun on student discount price back in the day, could also get away with murder back then, rules were not really that strict

OK a real football story Geoff Drover 1st Newfie in CFL for 10 years at that point

Ducky

I remember a play (Had to research the game - Sept. 27,1981 vs BC) where Eugen Goodlow caught a pass and broke it for what looked like a touchdown.  He ran 80 yards before being tackled and stripped of the ball. BC picked it up and ran it back the other way for what looked like a touchdown, only for Goodlow to catch up and strip the ball. Bombers recovered.

So, after an 80 catch and run the Bombers had a 1st down farther from the endzone than they started.

Plays I think about a lot are, the:
1. MTL Miracle game with Nichols

2. The Demski TD where he catches the ball in traffic and puts his head back, chin up and high-step out-runs everyone on the field for 35Y or so of YAC for a TD.  Don't recall the game, or season -- maybe '19 or '21 postseason?

3. The Demski TD where he catches it like at the 10, 2 guys are closing in, and he casually slips to his side and waltzes in.  My son and I call that the "I went theees way" play, in our best Mario voices.  I think this was the post-season a few years back.

4. One more... the Demski big(ish) catch in (I think) the '19 GC where they slowmo replay him screaming and mic-dropping the ball with Steinhauer and Burke in the background wishing they had never been born.

Weird... there seems to be a theme to my favorites.  Maybe time to buy a Demski jersey!

That's the only game my wife went to with me!  ;D  ;D  She made me leave early in the 4th IIRC.  We heard the cannons on the way back to the car.  Sat there in the car listening to the 'OB.  Neighbor had given us free tickets.  My last time in the old barn.  And last time taking the wife...

P.S. Kavis was a WFC coach once??

I think about this often as well. That was the beginning of the end of Printers.

IIRC, he was the DC in 2010. Then the team upgraded to Tim Burke for the 2011 season.

He never played another game in the CFL. The Bombers broke him that day.
