Was never quite able to live up to expectations.

Enjoyed watching him play though.
My wife is amazing!

Only 8 years?  I would have guessed more than 10!  His best years were in BC with to Burnham.  Lots of threats those years.  He was legit those years, and could rip you a new one.

wow, never saw either one of those retirements coming, I thought both were very decent recievers last year, but i guess, they know when its time...

I don't know about that, Rhymes had 3 seasons over 1000 yds which is one more than Lawler has put up in a similar time frame while being heralded as the best.  He did have a turbulent career as a negotiator, often ending up in disputes with the 3 clubs that signed him, usually leading to his premature release.  He was also central to the 2024 "Rourke Revolt" when Rick Campbell anointed Nathan Rourke the starter upon his return from the NFL, Rhymes staunchly planted himself in the camp of Vernon Adams, thus his departure from BC was arranged shortly afterwards.

Dom rhymes is a very decent reciever as is Dunbar, I would have taken either on our roster

Dunbar and Rhymes had REALLY down years in '25.  And didn't do anything stellar in '24 either.  Both were near the end.

Addison may be the next one to retire, though clearly he'll be trying to play in '26.  We'll see if he can revive his career -- but that's tough where he is.

A good depth piece that likely came cheapish? Enjoyed him while he was here.

Surprised, I saw Neufeld doing a commercial for CPAP Machines Canada on YouTube, is that ad running on local television in Wpg as well?  Can't understand why CFL players don't receive more opportunities to become local and Natl. celebrities.

The Edmonton Elks and Winnipeg Blue Bombers have been awarded extra picks in the 2026 CFL Draft, the league office has confirmed to 3DownNation.

Each year, two bonus selections at the end of the second round are given to the teams that had the highest percentage of snaps played by Canadians the previous year. These picks have been awarded to Edmonton and Winnipeg, giving them the No. 19 and 20 selections in the 2026 CFL Draft, respectively.

At least we got something for running a few of those guys out there over and over, no matter the result.

There's always way more DPs we get than roster spots.  Maybe this year we can strategically eye picks 1-4 and if there's someone we want/need trade some of these extra picks to move up a couple of places to ensure we get who we want.

I would say our needs in terms of 1st year starter/allstar are: DT, OC, OG, REC.  DB (CB) would be gravy.
