Throw Long Bannatyne

They are suggesting he will be a pocket passer only and he can control it that way. I have my doubts. He will have to run eventually and that risks further damage. Sask should be sending the house every passing down, MAKE him run.

The Als should be able to prep for their pass rush with dump passes into vacated areas using Snead or their RB.  If Alexander has a weakness it's his field evaluation and accuracy throwing on the run, even with a tepid pass rush the Bombers were able to expose that flaw for awhile last weekend.

I'd like to see Trevor Harris QB a team to a Grey Cup victory even though I'm not any kind of a Roughriders fan.

Radically Canadian!

Landon Rice (OL) and/or AH have been in or won every cup since 2019.

Rice got the cup in '23 with MTL, then '24 with TOR.  Now he's backup in MTL again!  And probably dressing with their OL injury woes.

AH of course won 2 with us then left and won it with TOR in '22.  Now he's back with SSK in '25.

It's like that D guy who was in every cup from like '19-'23 (can't remember his name).  Some guys just manage to follow the teams that are going to the cup, and make smart moves to make sure they continue.  OR they are so good/influential (like AH) that they make their teams better/unstoppable and so they get to the cup.

Strangely enough, both guys are Manitobans.

I eagerly await the outcome to see if it is Rice or AH who gets the ring this time.  (Go Rice!!)

Unlike Alexander he has paid his dues.

bomb squad

I think the most intriguing matchup in this game is the quarterbacking. Particularly the contrasting styles. Harris is very controlled, planned, technical, and deliberate. All about the arm. Doesn't use his legs unless there's tons of space in front of him. Alexander thrives on being more on the edge of chaos. Passing and running are what he needs to do. Sticks to the plan a bit but likes to create on the fly. Both qbs are very effective with how they perform. We'll see which qb comes away with the win.

Trevor needs to not run.  If he runs and doesn't slide he's going to get EITS'd!  If he's out for a few series Maier is going to lose the game for them.  MBT>Maier.
