Not only do you look classless, but you ruin future career paths.  For example, BLM was unhireable in WPG ever since that "what kind of team they are" comment.

That said, Alexander is definitely the next big thing.  What a great career he has ahead of him.  He needs to learn he can pep up his team without making enemies on other teams & fanbases.

lotsa hate was directed to "smiling" hank in the days.

people thought dunigan was a goof as well...generally if you are good, fans gonna complain.

DA will tone it down as he matures.

Hank beaked off at the media for something they said at half time if I recall correctly.  It was a really bad look.

You can't compare Burris and Dunigan in terms of career, fan love, Wpg like/dislike - really anything.

Quote from: BlueInCgy on November 08, 2025, 10:23:27 PMAlways fun to see how many people would rather have a loveable loser QB as opposed to ones who win.

Or just expect a bit more character from their QB than being a delta bravo...

Yeah he got away with a few other " taunts " I thought. Classless. Now I have to cheer for the Riders.
One game at a time.

Oh ya... but insulting the media is OK in my books.  It's when you insult the other CFL players and various fan bases that you really get hated.
Never go full Johnston!

So is this the '24 EDF/GC situation all over again?  Late in the game the main QB of the winning team goes down and you know he won't play (or maybe play with no mobility) next week.

Seems like a gimmee for their opponent.  If MBT plays most of the game there will be no hope for MTL.  Unless they manage to pull off a miracle like TOR & Arbuckle did.

P.S. This proves Demski should have started for us.  If he had maybe we are going to the cup with no Demski.  Alexander was never 100% and MTL & him still decided he needs to play.  And rightly so.

We should have been gunning for Alexander all game like HAM was.  We should have tasked more beef and spies to be whacking/tackling him as much as possible.  That is the key to winning -- too bad for HAM it happened too late.  Now they still lost but MTL's GC opponent gets to benefit from a limping or absent Alexander.

We all knew Alexander was one hit away from a busted hammy.  But I don't think we laid hands on him once.  Even without a good DL, we could have blitzed a ton with Jones & Kyrie.

Oh well.

We missed our opportunity.  I think we would have creamed HAM should we have won the ESF.  Our D is basically built to stop an O like HAM's.

We should be in this cup at home.

Ease off on whatever you're high on, the Bombers as is would not have beaten any of the 4 teams that played today, Demski or not.

Mostly by Cryder fans! :D   Burris was not full of himself though. He just bolted Sask for Calgary.

don't 99% of hammies come in open field running?
