Two weeks ago a 17 year old WHSFL player with the Sisler Spartans was seriously injured on the opening kick-off in a high school football game. He required emergency surgery for neck and spinal injuries and wasn't able to breathe on his own for a few days. Tragically, this young man passed away from his injuries. Being a parent of a former Spartan player this hits me pretty hard and I ask that people pray for his family and team mates at this time as I can not even imagine what devastation this has caused them. This is just so very, very sad.https://classic107.com/articles/god-called-him-home-far-too-soon-high-school-football-player-dies-after-severe-injury

Tragic.  The saddest, most devastating news a parent can get.  They are in my prayers.
