Bombers will be back on the field tomorrow for there first practice of the week. The big question is, will ND10 be on the field and taking part in practice.

This will sound stupid... but the ESF is on Saturday.  I still had it in my head all CFL playoffs were Sunday, but they changed it a year or 2 back to not compete with the NFL (I think that's what it was).  I had forgotten.

... I came this close to booking a flight that arrives Sat 7pm, doh!  Back to the drawing board on options...

Bombers added receiver AK Gassama to the practice roster today.

Montreal transferred OL Jesse Gibbon to the injured list and actived OL Landon Rice.

No word yet on Als other injured players fron the game: defensive tackle Mustafa Johnson, defensive end Lwal Uguak, and running back Stevie Scott III. Although Johnson was seen with an arm in a sling after he left the game.

Is this a hint that Demski might be done?  That would make any playoff win for us very improbable, and would make me very sad.

Gibbon is just a backup, so no big loss there.

Rice is interesting... I thought he was couch sitting.  No one took him in FA.  Did MTL give him the call a few weeks ago?  Anyone know when?

Rice is the MB guy and Bison who is best friends with my buddy, and he was in the game (a backup, but saw jumbo action) in the GC MTL beat us in.  AND he was on the TOR team that beat us in the '24 GC, though I'm not sure he saw the field in that game.  Glad he's not facing us in the GC this year... he's bad luck for us.

I always thought we should have signed him as a backup/jumbo.  Now he's probably too old (37) for serious consideration.

It's a surprise to add him at this late date if at all. I don't think there is any relationship between adding him and the status of Demski. Actaully I though Gassama had some talent but wasn't part of TC 2025? Did he have an off season injury to recover from?

If Demski is not able to play we do have the option of choosing one of the import receivers and flipping the ratio.

We'll see if Demski practices tomorrow although technically he doesn't have to practice and could be a GTD and still play. Giving him maximum time to recover etc etc.

Demski at least has to be there, and out there, even if in civvies.  Plays & plans will be practiced/taught and if he has any chance of being in the ESF he'll need to be present.

If Demski is sitting at home the entire week, that, for me, spells him being out of the ESF.

I would like to see him on the field at least jogging tomorrow.

Either way I don't see him sitting at home. He can help the receivers by being there and going over plays.

Hamstring is not something to overcome in a short time normally. So fingers are crossed and O'Shea said he'd be playing ( Lying through his teeth ). :(

Players that are injured are at practice. Players just don't sit around at home. Surgery is about the only thing that keeps players away, and or physiotherapy.

He was here for 2024 and 2025 camps. Went back to school last year and was a final day cut in 2025. As far as I know has not been playing since then. I believe he is an MOS favorite because of his back story. I remember him making some plays but Cobb beat him out.

I also wonder if Demski can't go and this is the reason for the signing. If we wanted to look at him again we had all year so the timing suggests we need someone that might have to play.

if he can jog that's a good sign.  i wouldn't be surprised if he didn't practice at all and was a GTD on saturday.  you can't rush a hammy and if you do the setback is quick and painful.

Prefer this plan even if they go with Cobb, nothing worse than trotting Demski out for the ESF and finding out he really can't run.  Zach just has to realize Cobb can't make the difficult catches but has decent YAC ability.

If Demski s out, we re dead. He does so much for our offense, and even when he doesn't get the ball thrown to him he's drawing coverage. All they ll do is tighten up on Wilson and the other receivers aren't going to beat the Als. Brady will have to have a huge game but even so he isn't superman
