Not sure why. He's moving the ball with Ottawa woeful offense and hasn't turned the ball over in 4 1/2 games. That's all you want from your #2. If I was him I d be looking for a contender to play for next year-BC, Calgary or us would give him an opportunity to play winning football and further develop vs languish in a loser program like Ottawa

TD pass from crum to bring them within 10. Should have put him in after browns 3rd pick to give him a fair chance of a comeback , but I bet he comes back and scores again before the games done. That's all you want from your #2, move the ball, don't turn it over, score some points and he does everyone of those 3

Stats Junkie

Ottawa should treat every play like it is 3rd and medium. It seems to be working for them.

Hopefully he continues to look bad for the remainder of the season and Ottawa deals him back to Wpg. in the off-season. Mighth cost the Bombers something big but I have confidence his career can be revitalized in the right environment.

For sure but I don't see one shaking loose that's all. Teams know full well the value and worth

Crum has really come into his own this season and will continue to develop. Bring him here next year to be our number two and get them to work with Zach and our offence and then the following year he potentially makes that step to number one worst case you have an excellent number two quarterback a year from now

But has not played well there, waaay too many picks. I think some of the blame is play design trying to throw to receivers underneath when linebackers are dropping and picking his passes off, they should have a receiver running a drag route across the field to hold the linebackers up until they do that he ll throw picks until the cows come home

Odd part was they continued to use one over the middle Play after Crum went in and it worked pretty well.

That play looked kind of risky to me. Not sure why riders had three defenders on one receiver, a few times. Must be that obvious.

You could see on the pick 6 that the receiver drifted into the coverage and I'd blame him for being at fault on that one.
One game at a time.

And yet they continue to throw the middle pass into heavy coverage, to me, that's poor play calling, and you deserve to throw a ton of picks. Most teams, including us, leak a drag route across the field as your check down and take that as the 7-8 yard gain is there all day because the LB drop, if LB's don't drop, throw the mid 15 yard pass, but Ottawa has only the mid 15 yard route with nothing underneath, no wonder they're getting picked off, that's poor play design and that's on the coaches.

It will be interesting to see how Ottawa reacts after the season ends, they're liable to blow up the ship and send the whole crew overboard.  In that scenario do they retain Brown as the starter or do they try to bring in another QB already playing in the league through trade or FA. Obvious choices for them are Arbuckle, MBT or Fajardo, unless the Elks make him feel very wanted he's going to listen to offers.

I think the blow it up, they are struggling and have gave Dyce tons of time to turn it around and they still suck. I like Pimpleton and Crum on that roster, wish we could get both this off season, and Im sure they'd like out of loser-ville Ottawa.
