Other Teams are Peaking

We're in trouble.  BC is playing the best ball of their season.  I have no idea how we could have any hope of beating BC in the post-season if they're playing like they are today, and if we are too.

And EDM is peaking too.  Cody is making them respectable, especially when Rankin is blowing things up, and their D is playing with confidence.

MTL and TOR will both be very hard to beat once their real QBs come back.  Kelly, who knows.  But Alexander will certainly be back for the post-season.  But even without the powerhouse QBs, you can tell the entire rest of those teams are peaking.

CGY & SSK will lick their wounds and recover.  Well, hopefully not, but odds are they will.  They've been peaking all season.

We aren't keeping up.  It's like we're trying to get good enough to beat early-season versions of these teams, and they've all run a mile past us in the meantime.  I don't see how we beat any of the good teams right now.  We haven't just not peaked... we haven't done anything.

Absolutely nothing is clicking.  Nothing is working.  No one is playing good ball.  Every unit has some struggle or issue.  There's no cohesion.  No plan.

It's dark days for WFC.  We'll have to see a major turnaround in OTT, and in every game moving forward, or there will be no hope of beating anyone in the playoffs.  Should we lose in OTT, I don't see how we win anything except "garbage season" games for other teams, or maybe some trap games.

It was "must win" situations 1, 2 and 3 weeks ago.  Well now we're really on the FOR REALZ must-win game.

Yes, we're in trouble. Think that's been obvious for a long time.

This season is turning into a bit of case study on the limits of culture. Yes, we have a good locker room and it's important. But no, turns out you can't be a successful football team if that's all you prioritize.

Bombers have a good shot for crossover to the east.

I don't really see anyone as peaking. Most teams have been pretty schizophrenic all season. Obviously we're in trouble if there's no Zach, but I still don't see any team out there as unbeatable.

We just need a three game win streak at the right moment. Make the playoffs, keep a consistent OL, and limit those **** turnovers for three games.

All signs are pointing to a cross over 68-7 loss, firing Oshea and bringing in a guy on a harley ;D

Two or three weeks ago Stamps looked like they would win out. I wasn't paying attention but some people (online) said Bighill didnt look good last night.

Als, with Alexander, same.

Lions , with their not very good defence, are completely dependent on Rourke,

Actually makes the season more entertaining, when it is so wild.

The thing that bothers me a bit is that we really don't seem to have as good a group of players on the field, as any of the other teams. For all the reasons discussed here over the season.

Man Adams took a terrible hit last night. Knee to the head maybe? Looked late to me. He was sliding.

Blue In BC

We're not sitting in 4th in the west with a game in hand. Time to make a stand or we'll be in bigger trouble. Even crossover could slip away.
One game at a time.

BC's gonna put up 30 points every game. If you can't put up that many points, and we can't, you're done.

CGY's massive recent slide basically started when Biggie was put in.  And how is CGY getting beat a lot?  Middle runs.  Just like he was here near the end, Biggie is a liability on the field.  I can't believe CGY will keep dressing him.

Who was CGY's MLB when they were dominant earlier in the season?  Did he get season-ended or something?  The young lanky guy they also have now isn't getting it done either.

CGY goes as VAJ goes, and the previous huge loss has gotten into his head, as happens every single season.  Once he gets into his "deep breaths deep breaths" mode you know he's mentally gone.  Dickenson The Greater will have to be QB Whisperer Extraordinaire to pull VAJ back from the precipice.

Well, our game today doesn't help in the slightest in showing that we're able to improve to the point of "peaking".  Well, except maybe our D.  Our D was doing max "bend but not break" and actually getting takeaways and <gasp> pressure!  The DB corps was finally starting to work as intended.

Then we lost Parker and maybe Nichols... sigh.  Pray for both of them.

Why write off CGY?  If VAJ is magically concussion-free, and if he shakes off his "bad VAJ" mode by then, I would expect CGY to be in the WDF, not hot/cold BC.

Plus, if any of the CGY/SSK/BC QBs are going to get season-ended before the post-season, it'll be always-running Rourke.  Remember Kelly.

Our only hope is the crossover and our season may come down to our last game at home vs Montreal , which in itself will be a playoff game.

What's the status of Davis Alexander?? Is he scheduled to come back this season??

I have zero faith in Adams mental strength to handle the big moments. I can already see him sitting on the bench crying in the big game, and if he struggles, their #2 Qb ain't doing beans for them

Are the Stamps really any less hot/cold than BC?
