Its not a matter of faster or quicker, its sheer mass bowling the Oline into the backfield.

I think any Olineman would love the chance to bang like a Dline once a game.  No worries about holding, just sheer mayhem.

I didn't miss anything. Getting to the QB is more often a matter of speed and technique, not sheer size.

The " Fridge " was used to crash though the DL in order to get 1-2 yards where there is no 1 yard off the ball.

We developed Fox, Haba and Garbutt who might not meet the measuring stick by some but all showed flashes and are still employed I believe.

Vaughters has been great since the get go.

Houston needs time, we dress the best options each week and I like the patient approach.

Yesh a Tom Canada sounds great to me.  A strong motor guy would be a welcome addition.  I think Schmekel could be that guy but not at the same level.

I like what you are saying however the major flaw in your logic is that the Rider DL will eat our OL and correspondingly the Rider OL will not have any issues with the Bomber DL. They are better on both sides of then ball at least IMHO.

This is totally true. Our OL will just have to manage to do enough to get us some runs going and buy Zach enough time for the mid game. They might have to have their best game yet. Keep in mind they held back the Montreal dl which I think is every bit as good as Sask.

Our dl vs their OL isn't as big a deal as we can scheme to mostly bypass it. We've won games with zero pressure before, especially against the Sask short game.

No, none is this will be easy, but it is possible.

It's hard when he's really the only one that's a threat for rb dts. We rely so much on the lbers for run stop, by design, I'm actually never surprised by our low dl dt stats.

If it's the way younger likes to do it, then that's ok with me. If we get the W.
