On the onside kick....  did Proulx get from command centre that it was Rider ball?  It looked like Sergio recovered that ball and the refs on the ground weren't sure...  could OSH not challenge that call?

Did kind of look like it. We had no timeouts and I think under three minutes all replays come from the booth.

They did the "who has the ball last in the pile" thing.  No one cared who had it and was DBC.  But that's pretty normal for the CFL.  You just have to win that battle at the bottom of the pile.  Castillo is probably the worst person for that job as he has no need for upper body strength.

That leads to the question: why weren't more guys in that pile?  It was Castillo and like 1 other guy?  Where's the hands team or the beef blockers??  Strange.

As for challenge, yes I think you can, but we had no TO left.  And you aren't winning that anyhow.

Schoen looked like he may have injured his leg again. That would be most unfortunate at several levels. It would hurt the team but he's just had a run of bad luck staying healthy.

Our front 4 suck. No other way to put it. Our OL is not good enough and neither are our receivers as a group.

I've seen enough out of Logan to suggest we cut him or bump him back to PR. I think he doesn't have enough seasons to have reached vet cut down time.

You can still challenge and force an extra look at something.  Command only has so many things they can auto-review, even in last 3 mins.

A VERY winnable game. We need to stop shooting ourselves in the foot--no end, too many men, blown coverages. You just can't keep doing stuff like that and expect to win games. Good news is, next week at home should be ours. Guys made plays today, we just had too many boneheaded plays to overcome.

I missed the play Schoen hurt his leg, are you certain he's hurt?? Agree on our front 4, just not up to snuff, never have been. And bu buy to Logan, he's definitely expendible, put him on the PR or cut him. He has been a total disappointment/bust.

I really like how hard we battled in this game in hostile territory and never quit even when we got down by two scores. There is a lot we can do to clean up our game and we've shown we can hang with any team in this league. All we need to do is sneak into the playoffs and go on a win streak. I'm really looking forward to it.

And we just let them walk into the EZ with zero pass risk or effort... Just run outside and you can kill us, every time.

And us only getting 3 on our great turnover.  Should have run Brady or sneaked twice from the 2 or 3 instead of Strev whiff & FG.

Letting them get that 2PAT was also inexcusable.  That looked like the '23 GC where Parker was a chicken with his head cut off on the 3rd & 3 game winner.  How does this happen with vet defenders?

And that was the difference: they made their 2PAT, we failed.  Both were passes.  Does that make useless Campbell better than top-shelf Nichols?

Schoen was the target on the final 2PAT, right?  So clearly not "hurt" hurt.

I think it's just Schoen being Schoen, I wouldn't worry about him.

I'm pretty sure he came down limping after the play. Whether it's the same leg or same problem is too early to tell. Offence was much better with him playing though.
