It's a "2 point pick 2", not 6.  Yes, it actually happens more than you'd think.  Usually a couple of times a season (including the missed-PAT-kick returns).

I'd lay the fault on our OL not being able to provide Collaros enough time most of the game. 5 sacks. Also needing to go for a FG early instead of a TD cost us 4 points ( the difference ).

Lots of mistakes elsewhere with penalties, missed FG and poor kick coverage and returns.

Somebody want to explain why we throw a 45 yard pass to the sideline from the 5 yard line trying for a 2 point convert?

It was horrible.  Just stupid.  That ball has to be on a line.  The only time you do a rainbow floater is to the EZ corner where only your guy can get it.

Yes, the inside quick heat pass to the guy in the zone hole right at the GL that we have used so well in the last 1.5 seasons was the play.

Or for the love of God just give it to Brady and tell him to earn his $250k so he doesn't look like a chump compared to Liver King.

On the other hand you expect the defensive backs to play inside leverage and take away the in breaking routes there.

The other guys get paid too. Didn't hate the call on that one.

A few too many mistakes to win but if I'm the Riders I'm still very worried if we come to town in the playoffs.

They're a very beatable 9-2 team.

They played horrifically bad.  All they have is the outside run.  Trevor wasn't seeing the field, he was horrible.  This win is due to their OC.

At 9-2 #1 in the league they are supposed to be unbeatable, they should have walked all over our piddly 6-4 4th place team.  They didn't.  Because they aren't that good.

This was a totally winnable game.  I blame Brady.

The Bombers are a much more beatable team though.

I wonder if Schoen's knee hasn't always been bad?  Ever since he first came here he looks hurt on every tackle AND he's often limping too.  What if the knee has been bum since college?

Unlike some of our recent 9-2 teams, that Rider team is not the Goliath they're billed as.

We, even as a .600 ish team, can beat them and we would have if we just played a few plays cleaner.

I would have been fine with a run there too, but I still like the out if you're going to throw because the defense will almost certainly try to take away the inside of the field.

On the bright side, with home advantage we should easily win next week.  SSK looked like hot garbage, Trevor couldn't throw to save his life.  His worst game of the year.

If we pack in some more DL instead of useless LBers and do more run blitz and have some beef on edge contain, SSK will have nothing.

We gave them 3 easy uncontested running TDs.  Truly pathetic.  Stop their run and they have nothing.

On O we've seen what we can do.  SSK needs to defend the whole field, even with that league-best pass rush.

I feel one of those 40-0 beatdown revenge games coming next week!

Then let's call it good play call, horrible execution.  If Zach zips it and the REC comes back for it a bit (he had the space) then it's a completion or DPI.

I think back to all the failed-every-time corner route we ran nearly exclusively in early/mid 2024.  Even with Kenny we were whiffing and INTing on those.  Remember our horrific red zone %?  That was mostly because of that.

Those were "outside pass" TD shots.  Just like with this one we let them catch up to the REC and get the stop.
