Basically only two games left with available tickets. The second Rider game will eventually sellout but the last game against Montreal has thousands of tickets left. Weather October 25 could kill the sellout streak. Also it might be a nothing game. Let's make history and sellout every game this year.

Would be so awesome

I agree Fire.  Has there ever been a sold out SEASON?  The late Oct games are always a tough sell, but who knows, maybe we'll have a mild Oct again and the city will still be buzzing... especially if we can get close to 1st place!

Of course WFC will paper over some of it, I'm not sure how the numbers break out... but if we can get within 2k of a sell out they can probably make it happen.

Must be a delicate balance deciding how much to paper over things (free tix) vs leaving open seats for actual $ in the bank real sales.

If a sold out season comes down to this last game they should advertise the 2 weeks before on the radio & stuff telling WPG to make history.

I've never heard how the kids from native bands up North are brought in for games because pretty sure they can't afford the expense.  Has to be a big cost associated as it would include airfare, food and lodging even if the tickets are free, so probably shared among a few govt. bodies and the Bombers.

Super big cost.  I think that airline donates a lot.  It's a good program, and we may be somewhat unique in all of Canada with it.

Almost certainly the WFC provides the tix for free, probably some dogs & pop too.  It used to be that 500-1000 free tix was a great way to fill up an otherwise unfilled stadium.  But now, they're probably stopping hundreds of walk-ups / last-minutes from obtaining a ticket at full cost.  So it's a tougher trade-off now... and you have to predict ahead of time what the ticket demand will be, because groups need advance notice of when they're getting the freebies!

Let's hand it to WFC -- they've found a good balance and continually produce great crowds.  Not an easy feat.
