Mike has no interest in giving out actual information, and I can understand that. Most pro sports coaches are the same way.

Every sliver of potential of advantage has to be exploited.

Yeah and I understand that, but as a fan I have two sides of me: the side that just wants to win at all costs, and the side that wants to take in all the facets and interesting parts of the game which necessitates as much info as I can get.

Again, I'm more of the first type when we are actually able to win all the time.

I still listen to all the stuff that comes out from MOS.  Because maybe every 2-3 shows/pressers he'll let slip some useful or entertaining tidbit.  Plus, I like get a feel for how his brain works.  It's important to know the MOS M.O. and mindset to predict how he'll do things.

Quote from: Stats Junkie on August 28, 2025, 04:58:55 PMWe all know Mike O'Shea likes to divulge as little information about injuries as possible. It appears as though teams are not required to produce an injury report for day 0 practices.

Ah!  That explains it!  That's why injury reports were tardy this week.  Thanks for that nugget.

I find it sad hilarious how other teams will sign a guy (sometimes not even an ex of their team!) and the dude will be starting for them 3 days later.

WFC NEVER does this.  Why not?  Gotta "earn your place" and practice and learn the book and and and...  But every other team: straight to the field; and sometimes they produce big numbers!

(Hoping that's not the case for double-name!)

Well, yes and no.  MTL O never being on the field did help WPG play "Bomber ball", which allows for more runs and a steady Brady clock-control plan.

If Alexander was in there driving 80Y for TDs every possession chewing up clock, we would definitely have to switch gears a bit.

UNTIL he gets a legal chest tackle that puts his head on the turf...  (NOT wishing injures on anyone!  Just pointing out that after his concussion last week it'll take just 1 tap to the turf to put him out for LDC+BB.)

Super disappointing, most CFL players cut by the NFL read the tea leaves and are already returning to their CFL teams. If Pokie doesn't show up within the next week, that might be an indication some players don't feel the love in the locker room others speak about. As noted before, Zach makes great connections with some receivers, others he tries not to yell at.

Its still early. Practice rosters were only finalized yesterday. I'm hoping Walters is negotiating with Wilson, and something will be announced soon.

So if we signed Wilson you mean to tell me he wouldn't be starting the next game?? I think he would!! Good players find the field very quickly due to their talent

If IR situation is dire, maybe.  If REC IR situation is stable, then yes I do think MOS would make him PR for 1-4 weeks.  Look how long he made Lucky sit on PR even though we didn't have a returner!!

So you can go try out for the NFL, but don't expect to just start back where you left off, over guys that went through training camp and practiced for 10 weeks? So we start Cobb, Corcoran, and Mitchell over Wilson? That would be a mistake...but to be honest I would not be completely surprised.

RebusRankin

If Wilson comes back, he's starting the next week.

Harris did not have any concussion symptoms and is totally fine for LDC.
