I am wondering what everyone thinks our final win-loss record will be.

Currently we are 5-4 (10 points)

At home we have

Riders twice
Tiger Cats
Als

Away games are

Als
Red Blacks
Riders
Tiger Cats
Elks

I think we might win 1 home game and maybe 2 away games.

This would give us 16 points and might be good enough for a cross over.

What do others think where we might end up points wise?

The Zipp

well if you are ranking the teams on talent:

sask
calgary
hamilton
bc
montreal (higher if DA wasn't hurt)
toronto
winnipeg
ottawa
edmonton

we know where we stand at the mid way point of the season

We are hurting right now. If it is this team then yeah I say playoffs, either 3rd place west division or crossover. IF we get some reinforcements and IF other teams are less lucky with injuries then 2nd is still in reach. I'll guess 5-4.

I'll say we'll be 9-9.

Pretty shocking decline in the depth of this roster - and the decisions management made - on who to keep and who to extend. In then year Winnipeg HOSTS the Grey Cup.

Bad timing but those same decisions (keeping the core together, O'Shea's belief and loyalty, etc.) also powered us to five Grey Cups so it's disappointing but whatever.

As long as the team gets better every week and sticks together (two things I don't think anyone is worried about with O'Shea around) we could still make some noise. We wouldn't be the first team to have an up and down season win a Grey Cup. And if you look at the last few years, finishing first didn't ultimately end is total success.  It's probably far less likely than previous years, but it's not impossible.

Dam, here I thought I was the biggest pessimist lately lol.

As concerned as I am in many areas, I think we can win 3/4 home games and at least 2 away games.

The thing that myself and others have to remind ourselves is that it's still summer and we haven't even gotten to Labour Day yet. If things stay the same, it will be a struggle to get into the playoffs (I think we will but it would come closer to the wire than it should). But, we have lots of time to pull ourselves together and at the end of the day, we are a game over .500 at the halfway point with 75% of our losses coming against arguably the best team in the league right now if you're looking for a silver lining.

If we had to choose when it all comes together, I would much rather get hot in the fall when it matters most, even if that means no home playoff game and we have to pull together 2019 magic again. How special would that be?

Anyway, I'm going to get back to panicking and being mad for a little while longer and will come back when I cool off.

10-8 would be my guess. We lose to Calgary in the Division Semi-Finals. Or we beat Calgary and lose to SSK.

As much as we are complaining, this would be considered a decent season from 2000-2015.

We haven't had a team this bad in 10 years, which is why we are complaining.

Stranger things have happened in the CFL than 500ish team winning it all. It feels like that's what the Argos seem to manage every ~4 years or so.

With that said, it's not productive to have a hopeful attitude without any actions to actually get hot. Then again, we are just fans so the only real option we have (aside from creating a hostile environment for home games) is hope. lol.

I believe we will be a little over 500.

I believe the complaining is a little over done.

Need the following to sort out to win in the playoffs
1. Keep improving the OL and get healthy
2. Bring back Brady Bully ball
3. Get healthy and adjust on the back end D
4. Continue to improve at receiver
5. OC improve
6. In game critical decisions needs to get better

Rest will sort out imo

Schoen and Parker back helps big time

Woods, Logan nice depth guys to sprinkle in when ready

Hope is on the rise!

Pigskin

This team could very easily be 6-3 right now. It's a tough schedule, but I am also thinking 10-8. But, I do think we need help at OL, and DB. Also dumb penalties like the two 69 took last night can kill a team.
