Haha, no doubt it wasn't a called play. We haven't run a Qb draw in decades....we should, but never do. Priceless, ya that Hogan is some kind of genius alright. What a joke.

Listening to MOS on the post game, and his reaction to the Allen PI question, him immediately blurting out "It was PI", I think was a reaction to the fact that there were so many missed calls in the game that hurt us, and I think he was very conscious that any condemnation of the officiating would leave him lighter in the wallet, so just ignore the bad officiating, take the W and hope the command centre, oops, replay centre does a post game analysis of the officials and comes down hard on them.

Will there be a "couple extra marbles" in the ref's pockets next game?  I don't think so, but I can bet they are going to have a little better look at each play before tossing the flag, or even leave them in pocket and allow the coaches to challenge.

I know, we ALWAYS see that the "ref's are against us" here.  Then again, just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't actually out to get you.
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

That's what I thought live @ PAS.  I agree.

But watch it again on TV.  Seriously, don't answer until you watch it.  It was designed thru & thru.  Because otherwise Hogan drew up 6 REC out and everyone on a go route?  Ya, like that ever happens by WFC.

At the very minimum, the play was designed to leave a QB draw as a viable read -- even if it was Zach who had to make the final decision.

The delay between snap and Zach running was way too small for Zach to have made 6 reads (or say 4 were viable and 2 were decoys, still not enough time).  It's classic draw timing.  And the OL bifurcating the DL perfectly and sealing them off...

Oh ya, and Hogan has called quite a few RB and QB draws this season.  This isn't new for Hogan.  There were 2 QB draws I can remember that failed miserably in earlier games.  Some of the RB ones worked.  Hogan clearly likes the draw.  Buck hated it -- I think I got one (maybe 2) in all of 2024.

Zach can say whatever he wants, I'm saying this is Hogan.  If you watch it carefully, I think you'll agree.

We literally ran 2+ QB draws (now 3+) and many RB draws this season already under Hogan.  That's exactly my point: Buck basically never did.

I've mentioned every RB/QB draw in GDTs.  It's one of my favorite plays.
