And then I can't forget that 3D chess extraordinaire Mike Kelly released him for nothing and then replaced with him Stephen Lefors who he gave up a second round pick to get.

Giving Mike Kelly the keys to this franchise was one of the most insufferable things we've ever had to endure as fans.

Non-issue. Handled Internally. Next Question.

What a glorious year of drama 2009 was.

Releasing Kevin Glenn.
Trading for Stephan Lefors
Pacman Jones
Barrin Simpson being placed on the injured listed, even though he said he wasn't injured.
Casey Bramlet
Michael Bishop
Getting destroyed in the final game of the year with the playoffs on the line
Mike Kelly getting arrested and his picture being on the front page of the paper.
Romby Bryant putting in a half-assed effort after one look at the play book
Teams mentioning that the bombers were easy to play against because they knew when the bombers were going to run (because they'd run full speed towards the line)
And whatever else I'm missing

I voted for KG. I think he took hate because everyone wanted a Khari slinger and Glenn was a bit closer to a game manager like Nichols. Had a nice quick release. Gave us a legitimate offense.

Goes to show how personability comes into play, though. I agree that of the lot, Buck was the worst but everyone (including me) just loves him as a man and how he plays when he's healthy and on his game. Nichols was a game manager who acted like a star. He was very good though and got us through to become who we are today. There's something about him that rubbed me the wrong way but I shouldn't let that cloud his skill level and what he brought. Mainly respectability to the team and the start of our golden age.

He was just the absolute worst.
Kelly is a tie with Reinbold for worst coach GM we've ever had. For different reasons but each were the worst.
Season ticket holder since year 1 of the Reinbold era.

Gotta agree there Goldie. One was an arrogant a hole who thought he knew everything, but didn't (remember shotgun snaps are for high school comment!!) and one was clueless on how to run a football team. One the pain and suffering we have endured over the years!!! It does help cope with the hiccup we're having right now, as we know this will be short term.

Reinbold and Kelly were so bad, they help out Tim Burke because he's a clear third on the worst Bomber coaches since 1997 list despite being a brutal coach.

I voted for Nichols. He has often been credited by other Bomber Qbs for bringing a professionalism to the quarterback room that hadn't been there in the past. Streveler said that when he came to the Bombers he would arrive in the quarterbacks room and Nichols would already be there studying film. Streveler decided to come an hour earlier the next day and who was there but Nichols.Streveler saw what it takes to be a starting qb in the CFL ad began putting in the work. This trend has continued to this day. I also voted for Nichols because he was the qb when the Bombers began to turn the corner and make the playoffs regularily. Glenn had some good games but a lot of the teams he was on were not very good.Pierce was just hurt too much playing behind a terrible O-line.

Was it that he was a clenched-teeth-talker?  Nichols wouldn't open his mouth if his life depended on it.  It's like he had lockjaw or was constantly training to be a ventriloquist.

Always irked me!  Still love the guy.

Agree with this order. Glenn could win you games and gave us the best look at a championship. Buck at his peak may have been better, but it would be close between those 2.
Nichols was great at not losing us games. Steady short game and let the receivers do their job. Once Collaros came aboard we realized how important the deep ball was to open up the field! Nichols probably had the best team around him of the three.
Buck had the big play ability and could run pretty well too (I recall a 50 yard rush TD). He just couldn't stay on the field.

The years in between these guys were absolutely brutal!

I tried to find the year and I couldn't! Stats-wise he had a pretty bad career with the Bombers.
Must've been thinking of his first season with us (2010). After one of the worst seasons in Bomber history (2009), he felt like such an upgrade!

2008 in BC was his best year statistically by a pretty wide margin.
