Quote from: TecnoGenius on August 14, 2025, 01:44:18 AMRoyal snub of MOP Brady.  And we deserve it.  OL is bad at pass pro, but they're even worse at run block this year.  Brady nursing stuff and/or can't be effective at all without a top OL.

Unfair snub of Holm/Nichols.  They are lockdown superstars.  It's not their fault they are on a league-worst unit, it's KW's.

And wake up call for league-top-3 $ QB Zach?

We deserve way more spots than this, so much quality talent on our team.  But the weak links are numerous enough to make our team look like trash.  Losing = snubs.

It's a fair cop.

Not sure if I agree with any snubs.

Sir Blue and Gold

Realistically, the only player we have who's playing at a first team all star level is Evan Holm. You could say he's been snubbed. That's about it.

I went through the numbers for those that think we aren't giving Brady the ball enough. I looked at the first 5 games of each of the last 3 seasons (Brady has played 3 games if you don't count our first game where he only played the first 2 snaps).

2023: 88 touches
2024: 81 touches
2025: 93 touches

We are feeding Brady the ball more than ever, but we can't stay on the field. It's not for a lack of trying to get him the ball though.

Story seems reasonable, did you read it?  Kudos for 3DN for creating CFL content, no other media outlet is doing so.

lol
Your response is actually the definition of meaningless tripe. If you have issues with the specific players they chose, (or Bombers they did not choose) you could summon the effort to say so. Otherwise, your comments add nothing to the discussion.

To each their own, man.

I'm not a fan of 3DN. But there's certainly no need to get crusty and take that personally. :)

good info - some of the issue is the long gaps without giving him the ball.  also would be interesting to see numbers of offensive plays and first downs.

That's because he has max 1 breakout per game, and usually more than half his runs are stuffed behind LoS or max 3Y.  Basically when the other team decides it's time to shut down Brady, they can.

I don't blame Brady for it all.  At least half the blame is on the OL.  Much weaker at run block since Yoshi left.  Notice how with healthy Yoshi all of a sudden weak Oullette is getting huge runs and big averages?  Ya, Oullette didn't suddenly get good and Brady bad... the OL support and scheme are the big factors.

However, it sucks we're paying Brady like double what Oullette gets, for less production...

It's not really a blame thing, but I just can't stand the general moaning of "give Brady the ball more". That isn't what's going wrong, at all.

For sure. You could give the ball to Brady on first and second down every series and we'd go 2 n out.

But they always said the same about AH and 20 touches. Correlation is definitely not causation.

I agree however IMHO there is a positive Correlation coefficient between the Bombers poor offense and their Offensive Coordinator.

Blue In BC

Interesting poll. I didn't vote and would have with an " all " choice. Obviously there are several issues that need to be addressed.

Depth is now becoming an issue with the injuries adding up.
One game at a time.

yesterday was proof it's coaching. Younger maybe not, but Hogan and MOS look lost

I thought the secondary showed some improvement yesterday. There has been a few games when the secondary was just a mess. They cutdown on the big plays yesterday really only getting beat by Hardy early in the game.I like the physicality of Allen and it felt like the PI calls against him were kind of ticky tacky calls.
