Hellebuyck's under contract for another four years. Per the CBA, he's contractually obligated to show up, participate in practices and games, and adhere to league rules. I won't get into the weeds regarding suspensions, etc. because that'd be pointless at this time.

All those tweets you shared don't prove anything. On the contrary, it reinforces two things:
1. there are some pretty ignorant, short-sighted fans within the Winnipeg Jets base, and
2. Twitter is a trash platform where those types can broadcast their ignorance.

And again, none of what you posted above explains these comments:

Your deflection and non-answer are begrudgingly accepted.

100%.  Contracturally, he is obligated.

No player ever has demanded a trade while still under contract.

Oh wait.

Neither CH37 or the Jets have addressed his words in that exit interview.

Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Now you're just moving the goalposts. Has he demanded a trade? No. Has he alluded to any such thing? Also no.

You already said that yesterday.

But you're incorrect: Hellebuyck comments driven by 'that kind of emotion,' Jets GM says

It's shades of 2022, only this time it's Hellebuyck as your target.

And once again, it just smacks of intellectual laziness.

I will re-iterate, I do not want CH37 to leave the team. But I would like to ensure that should this be an actual issue, we manage to take full advantage of it, rather than be held hostage by it.

Enough time has passed, the fact that there are social media posts questioning whether CH37 is available for trade says that we should either have CH37 or the Team reassure fans that everything is great, and that CH37 is on board with the path the team is heading.

I get what you're saying. Outside of a few bright spots, this was a forgettable season for the Jets and its superstar netminder. It was his worst campaign since he became a starting goalie, which has to be frustrating for a player of his calibre.

The bolded part is entirely hypothetical at this time. While I can appreciate the concern based on Hellebuyck's comments in his exit interview, I would be hesitant to jump to any conclusions or fill in the blanks. We're only a few weeks into a long off-season for the team, so we'll likely have to wait for an update on this situation (if you even want to call it that). And that's only if the organization chose to make it public.

Unless it's a reputable source or an official account, I'd take what you read on social media with a grain of salt. I'm not on any platforms but what little I do see from others leads me to think they're all just total slopfests these days.

Winnipeg Jets outline multi-million dollar overhaul of Canada Life Centre facilities

Quote"Following significant multi-million-dollar front of house projects over the last several seasons, this year's venue reinvestment turns to operational spaces. A complete overhaul and reconfiguration of the Jets home team complex will add 3,000 square feet of usable space for hockey operations. The Jets complex has not been renovated since the team's return in 2011.

The renovation will benefit player performance and wellness with enhanced strength and conditioning spaces and a circadian lighting system which mimics natural lighting. State-of-the-art technology and amenities, a leading-edge medical treatment and therapy facility and an enhanced athletic workout space, complemented by elevated finishes and aesthetics, will position the Jets facility among the top tier in the NHL and serve as an asset for player attraction and retention.

The work will be rounded out by a new equipment room, the addition of a tunnel allowing access to the visitors bench without crossing the ice, and the relocation of the Matt Frost Media Centre where press conferences and post-game player availabilities are held.

Through almost three weeks of work, the 12,000-square-foot space has been disassembled and gutted of floors, millwork and built-in units with work underway to demolish interior cinder block walls and mechanical systems and remove concrete slabs to get ready for new slab pours. Being built by PCL Construction and designed by global specialists in arena and stadium design Populous, in collaboration with local firms Number TEN and KGS Group, the scope of the project requires an accelerated schedule and will follow aggressive timelines to ensure completion for the return of the team to start the 2026-27 season."

I can understand why Helley was upset in his exit interview, but roll things back a year and there could have been a number of players upset with the goaltending we got in last years playoffs, so chill out Helley, and focus on stopping the puck. But you can't let NE27 and his 26 goals walk and replace him with nothing. Aside from Kyle Connor and Sheifelle, nobody else scores consistently on this team. Forget a second line centre, we need a second line period!!
