I think it's fair to say this team doesn't have an established second line. We've seen time and time again in recent years how that's hindered this team's success, especially in the playoffs.

Management needs to seriously address that roster deficiency going forward, IMO. Maybe there's an answer within the organization somewhere down the road but a stopgap is sorely needed in the meantime.

Well, 2 against Colorado WILL be telling.

And I don't mean win or lose...we are obviously not on their level in any way, shape or form, but if we win one of them and put up a good fight in another, that's a very encouraging signal. If they stink in both...well, that's actually the expectation.

Hoping they keep things interesting during these last 3 weeks.

I'm most interested in what happens to the Canucks - a pretty sorry excuse for a professional hockey team right now.

- questionable management
- ditto ownership
- ditto coaching
- high-paying contracts
- last place in the league
- 11.6 Million cap hit on a player (Petterson) who scored 15 goals

Rumours Petterson will possibly be traded to the Hurricanes however the Canucks need to do something major to stop the bleeding.  Lack luster play and questions top to bottom indicate major changes should be coming.
