Quote from: dd on March 06, 2026, 09:08:17 PMWow, we lost a lot of grit in schenn and Stanley, they kept a lot of teams honest, we ll be an easy/soft team for the heavy teams to play against

Lowry is going to have to do double duty for a while... Without Pearson, I guess Rosen ends up with Barron and Loepke?  Duehr already back to the Moose...

Thing get a little to crazy the Jets can always bring up Bauer.

Sounds like. Nyquist, Toews, Rosen. Koepke, Barron, and Lambert. Would have like to have seen Lambert on line 1 or 2.

Fluery/Bryson 3rd. pairing

Chevy indicated they'd get different opportunities. It won't be like this for the rest of the year.

Well that took awhile but the result was great ..... glad JMo got the finish needed

The new lads I felt did quite well
Bryson is like another Heinola, while Rosen appeared to be "cool" in the intensity of a game

Looks like getting rid of that dead wood Stanley" has really sparked the team...

Just kidding.  Any time you can replace Stanley on the top PP with Morrissey, its going to have benefit.

We're getting healthy at the right time, if we were in contention.  Now its just lottery busting that we're doing.

Tanks alot.

The problem is, we are in contention now. We are only 5 points out of a Wild Card. Which really sucks.  The good thing is we will be playing the Ducks, Rangers and Avas in the next three games. The Ducks and the Avas should beat us.

I've given up the hope we'll get a high draft pick. The trades and players getting healthy have made this a better, faster team than earlier in the year. From an organizational stand point, I'm happy that they were able to move Stan/Schenn and bring in Rosen. I'm happy they're playing Rosen, Lambert, and Salamonson. And there are certainly positives to bringing the kids up and not having them experience a 20 game losing streak.

The only disappointing thing is losing the opportunity to add higher end talent. We hit a wall in the play-offs every year and it's usually at the expense of teams who have those high-end players in their line-up. We'll never be able to add those players in FA and we've been swinging and missing in the middle-late parts of the first round.

Same here. They've all but squandered that opportunity barring some drafty lottery miracle.

Pionk and Miller getting close. Nino and Vlad are a couple of weeks away with no set backs.

Chevy hasn't stunk with mid first rounders, higher picks seemed to not work out as well... not that I prefer to pick 13th, but JM44 has been solid, and KC81 is a solid 17th pick...

KC was drafted in 2015, Morrissey in 2013. The only first rounder since 2016 to even make the roster has been Cole Perfetti.

A) That is very stinky
B) It's actually worse since all the drafts 2015 and prior (where we drafted our entire core) were handled by Marcel Comeau. Since he retired, we've had a decade of nothing.

Just was not an effective outing at all.
HellB kept it from being a complete embarrassment

Our top line and best dman were all a -3
