This season's been cooked since before the holidays. The 11-game losing streak from Dec. 15 to Jan. only solidified how crucial it is to embrace the tank and try and get another top draft pick in late June.

This organization desperately needs to address its roster deficiencies in the off-season, if not sooner: the second line is mediocre at best, no proven 2C, inadequate depth (forwards and defenders).

Hellebuyck's basically the US version of Carey Price at this point, IMO.
