One win is OK.  No issue with that, give them something nice to talk about on the break.

Just don't make a habit of it.

Plus, its the Habs,  Destroy them.

Why? This season's already lost and a win tonight doesn't help their draft aspirations.

Great 1st. period, could have been up 5 zip. The boys left on there 3 week holiday at the intermission.

They are incredibly inconsistent at showing up for the whole game. Almost never against the better teams.
My wife is amazing!

Strong start but then kinda fell apart. This team just doesn't have the horses.

Point is pulled out of Olympics — maybe chance for Scheif

JockitchwithRich

Nope for 55 as Seth Jarvis named as replacement

JockitchwithRich

Took a peak at schedule for our lads this coming week.
They are in Vancouver for Wednesday night which means they will fly out Tuesday.
Thus, my guess is, we shouldn't expect our Olympic players in the lineup, except perhaps Niño.
After Sunday game I wouldn't doubt that JMo, HellB and the Sniper aren't flying till Monday and can't imagine they would get over Jet lag upon arriving in Vancouver, or do the 3 fly to Anaheim where they play Friday
Just saying we should expect  .Com and our AHL goalie backing up

Read today that JMo is expected to miss a "chunk"

Fleury might be our puck mover as well as Pionk.
Will Heinola get a game in or two

Trade Deadline coming up.
Does Stanley sign and stay or ??

Yes, March 6th.

Apparently Toews won't waive his no trade clause.
Thus, expected to stay with club

Is Stanley our expected move ?  How bout Schenn, Pionk or Fetts ?

Unless we win 4 in a row and show a glimmer of hope to be
in the playoffs, would hope that Chevy moves out some aged players. Draft capital in the first 2-3 rounds is crucial

Much as I'd like to retain Stanley now that he has found his stride, $5mil for 6 years is going to be his ask, no doubt, and with the D deals we have in place with our top 4 under contract for 2 more years, that's tough to squeeze in there for what will be a third pairing guy.

With Salmonson coming up, unless they trade someone above Stanley, I can't see them not moving him.

Now, if they can move Pionk, put Demelo on the top pair, put Stanley on with Samberg for the rest of the season, then we can see if Stanley is worth re-signing at a premium.

Would still have Fleury, Phillips, and Freji under contract to pair with Salmonson for the bottom pair/pressbox...
