Huge team effort needed vs the Avs tonight.
Footwork for Schenn, Stanley is really going to be tested

If struggles continue then let's hope to see players, such as,
Lambert, Ford, Salomonsson get time up.

Even if it's their best effort of the season, it's the Avs. They've been unstoppable and haven't lost in regulation at home (13-0-2).

I'm curious what it's going to take for the Jets' brass to just throw in the towel on this miserable season.

projected lines/pairings vs. COL
Connor – Scheifele – Vilardi
Niederreiter – Namestnikov – Perfetti
Barron – Lowry – Iafallo
Koepke – Toews – Nyquist

Morrissey – DeMelo
Samberg – Pionk
Stanley – Schenn

At this point, my most desired outcome is a high draft pick.

Well, right now we we could be picking 5th. overall if not better.

Unfortunately. None of our young prospects are lighting it up for the Moose.

Lambert:   13 games.  5 points.
Yager:     26 games. 13 points.
Ford:      11 games.  5 points.
Cib:       11 games.  2 points.
Barlow:    24 games.  5 points.

Walker Duehr: Leads Moose.  9 goals, 17 points.

But the Moose are doing pretty well. The players are just playing within the system and getting contributions from up and down the line up.

We could use that. And a little bit of speed.

We need some speed, but we also need goal scoring and the Moose don't have that either.

I don't think anyone's expecting a moose call up to suddenly drive team scoring, it's a matter of putting other players in a better position to succeed than Schenn, Toews, and Nyquist are putting them in (among others).

Or at the very least, to have the potential of upside to go along with the non-scoring.

Well, the Jets played a very solid game. Avas with a couple of lucky bounces. Nyquist replacing Fetts on the Jets last PP. Like it. MB36 with a beauty.

Gee we scored 2 goals —- hurrah and only let in 3, which was flattering, cuz HellB had to be great to keep it close

However, another loss in the standings

Glad Fleury is back
Fetts, according to Sawyer, not verbatim, was mostly riding the bench in the
last period
