His contract expires at the end of the season. He can potentially use this upcoming opportunity for his next set of negotiations but nothing changes in the meantime now that he's the starting netminder.

Well, far to many giveaways. One to many penalties. And, another bad 2nd. period.

Canes really pressed and did a very good job of playing away from the puck. Our lads struggled often trying to deal with the pressure and giveaways certainly broke down our attack

Coach A. did shake a few things in the third with Lowry and Toews flipping.   Noticed Stanley rode the bench often

Jets were pretty sloppy on Friday night and the Canes are a team that knows how take advantage of mistakes. That SHG against was particularly ugly, IMO.

So wondering out loud if Chevy might try moving Lambert and
another player, certainly try moving Heinola, to Seattle
The Kraken have Shane Wright who is not exactly living up to his Junior career press clips ... skilled, decent skater but terrible
in the dot and being used on their 3rd line at best

Toews with Wright and Fetts might work, can't get worse.

Missed chances and no secondary scoring. Nyquist seems like he's finally finding his place, but we need him and Fetts to start scoring.

The powerplay is a mess. Back-to-back games allowing a SHG is simply unacceptable. Losing to the Wild also creams my corn.

The Jets have just tumbled down the standings the last few weeks.

The Wild was 8-1-1 coming into this game. They have been playing some good hockey. But, these are games we need to win, especially at home. 6-5 at home, not good enough.
