I wonder if a line of Perfetti - Toews - Iafallo would be worth a look, with Namestnikov on the third line with Lowry and Niederreiter.

Just don't see Iafallo as a 20-25 goal guy. I would like to see the Jets trade for a big RW like Tuch, 6'4" 220, and can score.

I don't think he needs to be that guy, though. 15-20 goals would more than complement Perfetti's output, with Toews being the net front presence. From a speed standpoint, I think Iafallo would fit nicely on that second line.

I can't see a trade of that nature taking place any time soon.

Gotta get the 2nd line, with Toews, who has been phenomenal in the dot, chipping in soooo much more than the results so far
Toews with 8 points and Names with 7 have played all 19, while their new mate Perfetti has 2 pts in his 5 games.
Do the math and it's not good enough offensively
If the other two lines aren't doing much better, than the on ice results may be troubling getting near the end of the season

Just read a very short piece on SportsNet saying that Lambert has asked and the Jets granted him permission to seek a trade .    Wowee, this will be interesting

Unfortunate news re: Lambert but I guess he thinks he can get a better opportunity elsewhere. Not sure how that's the case considering he's playing on the top line with the Moose now.

I guess we'll see how this plays out. I can't imagine getting much back for him in a trade, though.

Oh my oh my, how this is soooo surprising

There might be an extra 8-10 games, that .Com would normally not play to fill in.  Sports is certainly difficult and this team game, for the Jets, just got tougher

Per TSN's Darren Dreger (on Twitter): Hellebuyck has been dealing with this issue for a while. The star goalie and team believe it's best it is taken care of now as opposed to having it linger.
