Saskatchewan has signed 🇨🇦 kicker Campbell Fair.

Fair is 8/8 kicking field goals in exhibition games for Calgary in 2023 & 2024. His longest attempt was 42 yards.

In 2025 he attended training camp in Edmonton. In pre-season he was credited with 2 punts. He also had a kickoff that was credited to Cody Grace.

could be the beginning of the end for Lauther. Sask is recognizing their gaps in talent and doing something about it.

great kickers can be hard to find...this may simply cause Lauther to be more laser focused...or he will fold.

It'll be funny if they outright cut Lauther and then the new guy is just as bad. (But probably bad for less money.)

One would think they'll kick the tires on PR a bit then give him an AR dress or 3 and decide then. Lauther can wither on the PR. Or he wakes up with the new fire under his butt. All things are possible...

I would just change one word - "It'll be GLORIOUS if they outright cut Lauther and then the new guy is just as bad"

I don't hope for injuries on other teams, that is dark - but I DO hope for incompetence and stupid decisions that make them fail and go down in flames. Especially the riders, and the leafs...

To Toronto - LS Simon Chaves
To Hamilton - 7th round draft pick in 2027

Chaves has been making the rounds this year. He was with Toronto in the pre-season; played 6 games for Ottawa when Peter Adjey was injured; played 2 games for Hamilton when Gordon Whyte got injured; it now sounds like Adam Guillemette is injured in Toronto.

There have been several long snappers on the injured lists this season.

He's past the veteran cut down date, so that's not a direct option. They might have to 1 game IR him to keep him paid.
