Very good weekend of fishing. Good AQ, low 20's which is excellent fishing temps. The walleye's are a little lazy right now. Finding we are catching most of our bigger one's drifting, with a bottom bouncer and lindy rigs. Jig fishing with minnows is producing a good number of walleye's but most under the 14".

The small mouth bass and perch are hitting one after another. Any kind of spinning lure in shallow water.

Hit up the Red earlier today with the wifey from the east shore just north of Lockport. Hammered eight channel cats, three of which were three masters (34.5, 35, and 36.5"), in just under four hours on heavy duty pickerel rigs w/ frozen shrimp. Had to pull the plug due to the swell and windgusts but a very fun time was had. It was also her first ever master channel cat!

Getting out to NW Ontario for the long weekend to hunt some walters, smallies, and hopefully a muskie or five. Can't wait!

Yes, it was pretty windy the last couple of days. Kids stayed in the bays out of the wind fishing for small mouth bass and perch.
