McManis made $206K last year and will be getting a raise from some team but most likely stays in Toronto.

do you think that Mcmanis is more of an impact player than lawler at 280k?

That's an obvious yes from me, too.

Receivers salaries got skewed. No one is worth 250k+ right now.

Definitely, a good game for a receiver is 6-8 touches, MLB is involved in every defensive play.

Absolutely. He controls the middle of the field and directs the defense, the Argos D was good, but McManis is the primary reason they were so good. If he moves to another team, their D will be good, just not dominating like it was. But I don't expect him to go anywhere, he's the cornerstone they build the D around.

And agree 100% recievers salaries are very skewed right now. No way they should be getting more than a star RB and Lawler at $280 is ridiculous, no one is worth that much catching 8-10 passes a game.

McManis is a FA as well, best MLB in the league...wonder what he's going to get for $$$.

Landon Rice is a FA, would be nice to bring him into our OL and have him play close to home

I am not sure we need another 37 year old OL.

If McManus does get to free agency I could see him getting $250k + then

Could be, but not likely the Argos pay that price, remember they let CFL all-star DB Adarius Pickett walk last off-season for much less. The Argos have shown individual stars are not the driver of their defence, they rely on the group approach.

I would say individual stars are a key to argos,
They were the highest bidder for Ormilade, Got Ceresna at 225k, and if course big bucks for Kelly, the reason they let Picket go was they couldn't afford them all Ty they may not be able to afford both Ceresna and Mcmanus

Paul La Police... not interested in any of the coaching jobs?

Maybe Bombers if Buck leaves?

Don't think Lapo returns to coaching at this point.

My money is on Buck going to the Lions and Jarious Jackson as our new OC.

If the Lions hire Buck it's likely to be Jordan Maksymic.

I've only heard the Bombers asking for permission to speak to Maksymic.
