But was it Oullette or that crazy good 2022-2023 TOR OL?

here here. I am sure most want him to fall flat on his face. I sure do but with an Argo win.

So, Dinwiddie watch the Bombers obliterate Rourke in his first game back on short practices, and decides his best bet it to trot out Kelly?

Good luck with that.

Milligan is going to eat Kelly's lunch and then burp.
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Ya, Kelly will be rusty and his timing will be off, but he still gives them a better chance at winning than the other 2 Qbs they got. That said, the Riders D will eat him alive and the rest of Canada will thoroughly enjoy it!!

Official: Chad Kelly makes season debut for Toronto Argonauts vs. Saskatchewan Roughriders
By 3Down Staff -August 21, 2024

Chad Kelly makes his 2024 season debut for the Toronto Argonauts as the Double Blue host the West Division-leading Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Kelly was suspended for the first nine games of the 2024 campaign for violating the CFL's gender-based violence policy and returns to BMO Field Thursday night.

The last time the 2023 Most Outstanding Player was on the field — last year's East Division final, where the 30-year-old completed 21-of-36 passes for 246 yards with one touchdown and four interceptions in a loss to Montreal. The Alouettes went on to win the Grey Cup.

Also back in the Argos' lineup is strong-side linebacker Quincy Mauger. The 29-year-old defender returns after he suffered a leg injury in Toronto's June 28 loss to the Als. The first-year Argo has collected eight defensive tackles and two special teams tackles across three games this season.

While second-year man Mason Pierce draws out of the lineup, Mark Milton takes his place at boundary halfback.

Toronto signed the 24-year-old Milton on July 1 after he was released by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats after making one start at boundary cornerback, his CFL debut. The six-foot-one, 185-pound Baylor University product signed with the Carolina Panthers after going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft but didn't make the team's final roster.

Canadian running back Daniel Adeboboye is listed as a game-time decision dealing with groin and ankle injuries.

Starters Wynton McManis, Darius Ciraco, Jared Brinkman, and Dejon Brissett all remain on the six-game injured list.

Official: Kian Schaffer-Baker returns for Saskatchewan Roughriders vs. Toronto Argonauts
By 3Down Staff -August 21, 2024

Canadian receiver Kian Schaffer-Baker returns to the Saskatchewan Roughriders lineup for the team's Week 12 matchup against the Toronto Argonauts.

The 26-year-old will be active for the first time since suffering a shoulder injury in the second quarter of the Riders' Week 7 matchup against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Mississauga, Ont. native has made 25 catches for 352 yards and two touchdowns in six games this season.

Canadian rookie Ajou Ajou will also be in the lineup after missing last week with a finger injury, while Mitch Picton hits the six-game injured list due to an ankle injury.

Newly signed American offensive lineman Trevon Tate will start at right tackle in his debut for Saskatchewan, kicking Logan Ferland back into guard with Nick Jones coming out of the squad.

Defensive back Deontai Williams will start at boundary corner this week with Amari Henderson out with a shoulder injury.

Also ruled out is starting running back A.J. Ouellette who was placed on the six-game injured list. It would have been the two-time East Division all-star's return to BMO Field after leaving the Argos this off-season, but a hip injury will prevent that from happening. The 27-year-old returned from a three-game absence due to the same injury last week against the Montreal Alouettes.

Taking his place will be American running back Frankie Hickson who started in all three games Ouellette missed earlier this season. The 27-year-old has 41 carries for 235 yards with one touchdown while he has averaged 5.7 yards per carry during four games this season.

Linebackers American C.J. Avery and Canadian rookie Melique Straker will draw back in on the weak side, while Global defensive end Habakkuk Baldonado also returns.

The Riders (5-4-1) visit the Toronto Argonauts (5-4) with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. EDT on Thursday, August 22.

That's a lot of changes to the roster on both teams. I do predict a Rider loss.

He should have listened more when AH33 was giving him lessons in TOR on how to not get hurt.  AH33 was the master of staying healthy (in BC and WPG) until the end.  Oullette just tries to smash through everything with no thought about anything, and is paying for it.

Hickson in Oulette out, Baker and Ajou in Picton out, those are all upgrades for the Riders lineup. I think Kelly comes out rusty and struggles moving the ball. Riders win 25-18
