We signed another QB. We don't have an injured QB. We don't need another DL either. I think we've added 3 new receivers.  So I don't agree with your sentiment. Bombers have lots of players in those positions.

Well, we're likely losing Brown in the off season, so good time for a look. Most of our DL qualifies for as many vet days as needed. We've needed extra guys there all season long on the active roster, as well. So, I'm sure there are lots of reps needed during a couple weeks of practice.

WR Bryce Mitchell, DL Amer Woods, QB Terry Wilson & WR Ontaria Wilson all show as added to ActiveXX in the CFL transactions report.

We know that Mitchell was a futures signing so there is a good chance that all 4 are futures signings. That means they are locked up but cannot play this season.

I wasn't questioning signing another QB. I was just suggesting at best they might take a quick look in practice this week but not next week.

In our last regular season game we added an entire new starting DL from our PR and used back ups from the AR. So giving vets vet days is not an issue. Same as with the QB, I don't think a DL signed this week sees many reps beyond this week.

IMO most of these are future contract signings for 2024 TC.

There are "next year" signings, like the QB, who will not get any snaps in practice. Just here to get a lay of the land so he can hit the ground running in TC 2024.

Then there are "insurance" signings, like Ambles, who may slide into some reps if we have too many guys sitting out practice.

We may just be saying the same thing at this point.
