Awesome signing... now just Bryant and Couture...
Any idea why Speller was suspended by the Argos? Is he still interested in playing? Is it a vaccine thing too? He did OK here when we lost Couture, has a 2019 WBB GC ring...

More than capable of starting at guard.
Time to step up or shut up Geoff (said with love because I think he's got this).

Speller also spent some time at LG so he's versatile. Gray is a great re-signing, it hasn't been mentioned much but the the game he filled in at LT he didn't look out of place and played well. I think it was the late season game against the Stamps after Bryant's backup went down, I believe his name was Rogers???

Gives us next up starting guard with the expected departures of Desjarlais and Eli. Good signing even if we retain the others which is still possible.

Didn't think GG68 was going anywhere. Nice to have him signed for the next couple of years.
I am not writing off Eli yet.

Thank god for the OL depth. Over the tenure of this golden age we're in, we've lost Bond, Goosen, Chungh, Speller, Desjarlais and (like) Eli.
I have zero worries about his ability to fill in and start at LG in 2022 and glad this will (hopefully) be his big shot of becoming the starter we've all wanted since he was drafted.

Desjarlais must be as good as gone at this point. Will be interesting to see what happens with Couture and Kolankpwski has center experience

Gray is a class act. He came with NFL experience and had to sit out games because he was behind Eli on the depth chart. Others would have demanded a trade.

His time has certainly come.

Oh ya, you better believe it. We've been expecting huge things of Gray since day 1. Yet to deliver. He got a whack ton of reps in the GC and looked ok. If he starts, he needs to be solid. And a touch more restrained on the pushing-the-boundary front if he doesn't to get back to being the penalty guy. Nasty is fine, just no flags. Hey, in the GC he was #68? I could have sworn he was 65 or 55 in '19 (or '18)? Found that a bit odd... or maybe it's just my memory.

I wonder if Collaros is thinking play closer to home by chance. He's won everything imaginable the last few years here. Imagine what the redblacks or Argos would pay the guy?? AND he's closer to his young family. hate to see it. But, can you blame the guy?
