Looks like Mezzalira was on Toronto's practice roster in 2021.

Looks like Mezz. is not to bad on teams.

We already have a few Canadian LB's on our roster including 2021 draft choices. He might be better than one of those and will compete for a role on the team?

Agudosi was on our PR for most of 2021 and has great size. He'd be a big target to add on the outside. Having a full season on the PR and being brought back suggests they saw something they liked.

Anyone remember seeing him much in practice?

Agudosi is still a big mystery, I was hoping to catch a glimpse of him last season as he dressed for a couple of games and may have touched the field, but no luck.

Big receiver, 6'6" 220. I watched a couple of videos. He seems to have a good skill set. 40 inch vertical and a 4.61/40. 36" long arms, 9.5" hands.

36' long arms... holy crap.  ;)

Always interested in players that get invited back, the CFL can take a bit to acclimate to, they don't get invited back if the coaches don't think they made progress learning....

Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

BLUE BOMBERS RE-SIGN RETURNER/RECEIVER JANARION GRANT

WINNIPEG, MB., April 13, 2022 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed American receiver/kick returner Janarion Grant to a one-year contract.

Grant (5-9, 164, Rutgers University; born: November 20, 1993, in Fort Trilby, FL) returns to the Blue Bombers for a third season.

Injuries limited Grant to six regular season and two playoff games in 2021, but he led the Blue Bombers in both punt and kickoff return yardage, returning 34 punts for 375 yards and one touchdown and 12 kickoffs for 283 yards. He also added nine punt returns for 64 yards and seven kickoff returns for 155 yards, combined, in the Western Final and the Grey Cup victory.

One of most dangerous kick returners in the Canadian Football League, Grant has four punt return touchdowns in just 17 regular season games played.

Grant initially joined the club in July of 2019 after first attending training camp with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Appearing in just 11 games, Grant led the Blue Bombers in both punt and kickoff returns that season.

Grant first turned pro in 2018, signing with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent. He made the team's final roster as the primary punt and kick returner but was released in late September of that season.

Grant played in 46 games over five seasons at Rutgers and in 2013 was named a Second-Team All American-Athletic Conference all-star and then a Second-Team All-Big Ten all-star in 2015, both appearances as a returner.

TC should be interesting with only one spot open at the receiver position.

Sounds like the Bombers are filling in the blanks.  I really hope Saunders is fully recovered

There is some really good competition at receiver.
