Next week i would love to see us sign and not in this order:

Harris Speller, Exume, Lawler, Richardson, Wilson, Jeffcoat, Bailey,

Medlock, Neufled, both at the right price.

Petermann would be a nice sign, but I could see him in Ottawa with Lapo.

Announced today.

Reports are out there saying Marcus Sayles has signed with the BC Lions.

I think Sayles was one of our highest penalized DB's in 2019. He took a lot of contact penalties. Wasn't upset when he left for the Vikings. Not that upset now. Rose was a much better player.

Sayles was still an all star. Over on Lionbackers they mentioned Ringmaiden as a connection in why / how Sayles ended up in Vancouver.

Interesting that he signed a 3 year deal.

Well look at the bright side, you can now go and see him play 9 times a year live.

Too bad for us. Sayles is awesome. You can't pay everyone though, and with a lot of cap pressure there's not much you can do.

Rose is also gone, so our secondary is taking a beating.

This is old news. It's been well over a year since they both moved on to the NFL. With or without a season last year Walters has made moves to replace them.

Sayles is a big loss and he makes BC better.

My list is a little smaller. Lawler, Harris, Speller, Exume, Richsrdson, Lyles.

Medlock, Neufled, at the right price. $$$.

I can still see Peterman starting in Ottawa under Lapo.

I'd add Miles and Whitehead as well as Latour ( assuming Rempel retires ).

Haven't given up hope that we see Grant and Kabongo return from NFL efforts.

I am already counting Miles as signed. Whitehead was okay, but just okay. I think there's better receivers out there. Kongbo was injured and then waived by the 49'ers. with a settlement. JK2 mite take another run at the NFL. However I would love to see him back in Blue & Gold for a couple more years.

Whitehead showed great speed and some natural ability to avoid tackles. He's still a raw talent but IMO has potential to improve in his 2nd season. He's also a very dangerous returner.

So it depends on whether we get Lawler back. Grant is another raw talent at returner and might develop as a good receiver. However we have nothing proven at import receiver beyond Adams and Bailey.

So getting Whitehead back is subjective somewhat on other possible signings etc etc. Sure there are better ones out there but think how difficult it was for years to find a keeper. Until we do I'd be bringing him back to TC.

Probably right that Miles as signed / will be signed but I just wanted to clarify he's a very good ST player and LB on defense for in game injury.

Kongbo does have a bit of an injury issue but I'm wondering who / where on defense we get a rotational player. Essentially we need 1 on either the DL or LB.

At the moment we have neither. Thomas likely starts and the rookie NI DL are unknown factors.

Perhaps one of the rookie LB's or draft choices shows well in TC.
