Well, that means Bennett shakes loose...  does Buck like him enough to bring him back?  Of all the QB's out there, I think he's one of the best at the "3rd QB as a FB" emergency QB and ST demon...
What is with you and QBs being FBs?

The new @SolomonE56 deal with @sskroughriders pays him $155K in hard money, with incentives to $163.5K.

With all the big contracts around now, this seems like a reasonably fair deal.

Cool...that means we have some money to spend

Or, we were driving up the price...   Wink

I'm sure getting "Team 100" back was of interest, but not a huge deal with the play of "Team 23" last year...

Argos sign former NFL receiver, ratio-breaking Canadian pass catcher T.J. Jones: The Toronto Argonauts have signed ratio-breaking Canadian receiver T.J. Jones, per sources. Jones was a free agent for CFL purposes. Good signing I think.  Most comparable player in recent memory is Samuel Giguere, who stuck with NFL teams for 4 years (although no starts).  He turned into a solid 500 yard receiver in the CFL.  I think Jones has a higher ceiling.

Better signing than Giguere...Jones actually hung around and had some production...in his athletic prime right now so I highly doubt he isn't succesful for the Argos...can return too, so has more value than just a receiver

TJ and Giguere are completely different styles of receivers.

That's a nice signing for the Argos' offense. Tons of upside there.
